Who Are You

Jacob's POV 

My dad left me all alone at home by myself just to go to Las Vegas. I swear I hate him. He hits me. I miss my mom. He had to keep hitting her so she ended her life. My friend Jaylen is having a huge party and I'm going. My dad isn't here to stop me. I was at the party and saw a total babe. She was with her friends. I think she saw me looking at her a few times but I didn't care. She is beautiful. I think that boy next to her is her boyfriend because they keep kissing. He's irrelevant . OMG she's coming over here. Be cool Jacob. Be cool 

Tiarra-Hi? 

Me- Hey? 

Tiarra-My name is Tiarra and I couldn't help but notice that you were staring at me when I was over there. 

Me-I'm Jacob and I'm sorry. I couldn't help it. My eyes attract to beautiful people so they stare. 

Tiarra-(blushing)So Jacob Is that why you haven't looked away from me since I started this conversation? 

Me-Ding Ding Ding we have a winner(laughing) 

She was laughing and she looked pretty. She had pearly white teeth and everything. Then she stopped laughing and looked sad. I have to see that smile again 

Me- What's wrong beautiful?  

Tiarra-I'm sorry. It's just that I have a boyfriend and I'm loyal. Can we just be friends?(smiling)  

FRIENDS. That word kept repeating in my mind over and over. I couldn't just be friends with this girl. I'm not going to get in the way of her and her stupid ole boyfriend. I'll do anything to make her laugh, smile, protect her, and make her happy. Whenever she needs me I'll be there. That's a promise 

Me-Yeah we can totally just be friends. I'll like that(smiling) 

I hope I convinced her because I definitely wasn't convincing myself  

Corahn's POV 

Tiarra was talking to that boy for a long time. I'm not jealous I just wanna know what there talking about. They betta not be flirting. OMG. I see her blushing. Yep they're flirting but I know she's loyal. I look better than him anyways so I'm good. 

Sasha's POV 

Rachael keeps talking about Drake. I'm going to die. All the couple's were sitting on one side of the table and Rachael and Jaylen were sitting on the other side. I kept seeing Tiarra and this boy with a curly afro looking at each other. He was staring and I saw that Tiarra was getting uncomfortable so I was about to say something. Then Tiarra said "excuse me for a minute" and walked towards the boy. He was kinda cute but I know she loyal. I'm gonna talk to her about him when we get home. OMG. She blushing. I looked at Corahn and he looked pissed then cooled down. 

Tiarra's POV 

Yay he said he didn't mind being just friends. I'm so happy  

Me-Do you wanna come and sit with my friends? 

Jacob-I don't know. Your boyfriend was kind of mean-mugging me when you walked over here. 

I turned around and saw Corahn looking at us, then he looked away.

Jacob's POV

She turned around and her boyfriend was looking at us then looked away like he wasn't just looking at us. He a dummy.

Tiarra's POV

Me-He can't judge someone he doesn't know  

Jacob and I walked to the group aka SQUAAD. I saw all eyes on us. 

Me- Hey meet my new friend Jacob. He's cool 

Jaylen-Hey bro 

Jacob-Hey 

Rachael-Hey papi 

Jacob-Hey 

Jon-wassup my man's 

Jacob-Wassup 

Sasha got up and hugged Jacob and lowkey smelled his hair 

Sasha-Sorry I'm a huger  

Sasha sat back down

Jacob-It's okay but did you smell my hair?(laughing) 

Everyone started laughing 

Tiarra-If you laughed at Sasha you are officially our friend 

Sasha-Your hair smells like strawberries  

Sasha got back up and attempted to touch Jacob's hair but Jon pulled her back down 

Jon-Babe I know his hair is addictive but you can play with it later 

Rachael-Sit down and tell us about your self Jacob 

Corahn-Yeah tell us who you really are 

Jacob's POV 

These people are funny especially Sasha. Jon and her make a cute couple. I bet they won cutest couple at there school. Rachael was lowkey flirting with me. Jon was cool. Corahn was mean-mugging me horribly. I didn't care though. If he is afraid I'm gonna steal Tiarra away from him, he didn't need her in the first place. Rachael told me to tell them about myself. 

Me-I'm Jacob Perez. I'm blaxican 

Jon-huh? 

Me-Black and mexican. I live with my dad. I'm 14 and I'm currently single 

When I said the last part, I saw Tiarra blush, Corahn fake cough "forever alone", then Tiarra pushed him letting him know she heard him, and Rachael whispered "yes" to herself.  

Sasha's POV 

I drank the last bit of water I had. My parent's and Joshua said when the water is all gone it's time to go. They were right. I checked my phone and it was 11pm. It was ok because Joshua didn't want us back until 11:30 but I was getting a little sleepy. 

Me-Tiarra 

Tiarra looked at me and all I did was shake the water bottle and she knew what it mean't. True friends don't need to communicate with words. I could tell that I was getting sleepy because I was thinking weird stuff. 

Tiarra- Well Sasha and I have to head home 

Jacob-Y'all live with each other? 

Me- No. Our parent's went to Las Vegas and she's spending the night at my place with me and my brother. 

Jacob-O cool my dad's in Vegas too 

Tiarra-That's cool maybe they are becoming friends and gettin- 

Corahn-I'm walking with y'all 

Jon-Me too 

Me- Rachael how are you getting home? 

Rachael- Jaylen's taking me after he ends the party(smiling) 

Me-What about you Jacob? 

Jacob-I walked 

Me-Is it close? 

Jacob-Yes 

Me-You wanna walk with us and the guys? 

Jacob-Sure I live on- 

Corahn-Can we go now? 

Jacob-Let's go
