Nice To Meet You

Sasha's POV

It started raining. If I don't get somewhere soon Conrad might get sick. A black Mercedes Benz was following me. She rolled down the window. She looked familiar but I don't remember where.

???-Umm do you want to get in my car? I know it sounds crazy but you can trust me. I don't want you or the baby to get sick. I have a baby too.

Me-I can trust you?

???-yes now get in.

I put all the bags in the backseat. I got in the passenger seat and held Conrad. The lady drove me to her house. It was big. Not to sound conceited but my house is bigger. I probably won't see my house in a while. The lady got my luggage and I got my book bag. We walked into the house.

???-William!

William came down with a white t-shirt on and some khaki pants.

William-Shhh stop yelling Sabrina. I just put Michael to bed. 

Sabrina-Oh I'm sorry. I have some guest that might be staying with us for a while 

Me-umm hi

William-Sasha what happened?

Sabrina-You know her?

Me-Yeah. I saved him at a party. This lady was flirting with him but she has a husband and he has you. He said he was never so close to slapping a female before.

We all laughed

William-Who's this Lil fella?

Me-This is Aaliyah's, the lady that was flirting with you son.

Sabrina-Well nice to meet you. I'm Sabrina, William's wife and baby momma. I'm from Atlanta. We are actually gonna go back to Atlanta tomorrow. Do you wanna come? Our house is huge.

William- Wait a minute Sabrina. Give her some time. She just got here and your expecting her to move in Atlanta with us.

Me- It's okay William. I'll do anything to keep Conrad safe. If going to Atlanta helps than I'm up for it.

Sabrina-Well then let's get some sleep. You and Conrad can dry off and sleep in this room.

I looked down and I was soaking. I looked at Conrad and he was all wet like me. Sabrina showed me a room to change in. I dried Conrad and put him some pajamas on. I did the same for me. Conrad fell asleep in the bed while I was changing. He doesn't move at all in his sleep but I put him in the middle of the bed. I went downstairs in the kitchen and saw Sabrina watching Spongebob in the living room.

Sabrina-Hey Sasha. Come here and let's talk like adults.

I sat down. I wonder if she thinks I'm grown. I am tall, built like I'm an adult, and I am mature at times, but I'm only 14.

Me-ok. What you wanna talk about?

Sabrina-I wanna know a little bit about you and then we can talk about why I found you and Conrad walking in the rain.

Me-Umm I'm black and Mexican. My best friend name is Tiarra. I have a boyfriend name Jon. An older brother name Joshua. I'm super friendly and sweet. I have curly hair and my favorite color is blue.

Sabrina-How old are you?

Me-You wouldn't believe if I told you. Guess

Sabrina-19?

Me-(laughing) no (seriously) I'm 14

Sabrina looked me up and down in shock.

Sabrina-You were right. I don't believe you. You look and act so grown and mature.

Me-Yes I do have to make some adult decisions in my life.

Sabrina-So tell me why you and Conrad were walking in rain.

I told Sabrina everything that happened today and things about Jarell and Aaliyah.

Sabrina-Wow that's a lot. Well do you want to know some stuff about me.

Me-Are you a model?

Sabrina-(laughing) Yes I'm a model. I'm 22. I'm nice and friendly too. I'm 5'9 and William is 6'2. Michael is 8 months like Conrad.

Me-That's cool maybe they can be buddies

Sabrina-Yeah. When we go to Atlanta we can go clothes shopping and school shopping. I enrolled you in Greenhouse High

Sabrina-They checked your records and you gets A's and B's. Your lowest GPA was a 5.5 and your highest is a 5.8 Your smart girl.

Me-Thank you I try I try

We both laughed

Sabrina-I have a next door neighbor who is your age and he goes to Greenhouse High. He is a straight A student. Y'all both have the same type of glasses. He's a little shy. You go to school next Monday. William and I will watch Conrad and Michael. You will have your own  room. Conrad will share rooms with Michael. Get some sleep and we'll be going to Atlanta at 10 o'clock sharp. Goodnight

Me-Okay goodnight Sabrina

I walked upstairs to the room. Conrad was sleeping peacefully. I got next to him and fell asleep
