"So I heard you like Ashton." Calum said casually. How did he know that? You asked yourself. "I don't like him." You said and rolled your eyes. "Who likes Ashton?" Luke asked, walking into the kitchen. "Y/N." Calum responded. "Woah woah woah. Y/N likes Ashton?" Luke asked and Calum nodded. "Michael Clifford!" Calum yelled. "What?" Michael yelled back. "Come here!" Calum yelled again and Michael came down the stairs. "What's happening down here, eh?" Michael asked. "Oh well we know a little someone who likes Ashton." Luke said and smirked. "Who?" Michael asked clearly confused. Calum pointed to you. "I do not like him." You groaned. "Awe! my big sister has a crush on Ashy!" Michael cheered. "Y/N has a crush on Ashton. Y/N has a crush on Ashton." They sang and they kept singing and singing that. Luke pulled out his phone. "Yeah... I'm gonna need to set a date up for Ashton and Y/N... The name is under... hmm... Put it under Hemmings... No! Put it under Irwin... Wait no! Put it under Clifford... Nah just put it under hmm... Irwin... Yeah thanks... Tell them that Luke Hemmings has spies watching them..." Luke said into the phone. "Just made a dinner reservation for you and Ash." Luke smirked and you heard Calum talking on the phone. "Yeah. You and y/n have a date tomorrow under... Luke what's the reservation under?" Calum asked. "Irwin." Luke told him. "It's under Irwin." Calum said as smirked. "Just don't make any babies!" Michael yelled and you smacked him.

It was the day you couldn't wait for, your date with Ashton. You curled your hair and pulled it up out of your face. You put your dress on and then slipped your shoes on and then you went to do your makeup. "Y/n, Ash is almost here!" Michael yelled. you finished the last of your makeup and walked out of the bathroom and down the stairs. "Michael, your sister looks..." Calum said, breathless that he couldn't finish his sentence. "She looks so perfect, beautiful, stunning..." Calum finished his sentence. "Ash is one lucky guy." Luke said. "Maybe I shouldn't go." You said. "you should go." Michael said. "Michael, I'm so nervous." You whispered. "you went on a date before, right?" Michael asked an you nodded. "Then it is just another date." He said while he hugged you. You heard a knock on the door and Michael went to get it. "Hi." You mumbled. "Hi." Ashton said. You headed out to the car and then went to the restaurant. the car ride was quiet and the first half hour was quiet. you only talked to the waiter, as Ashton did that same but then he decider to talk to you. "How are you today?" Ashton asked. "I like you." you blurt out and cover your mouth. Ashton laughed softly but then frowned. "listen, y/n, you are a sweet and an amazing and a beautiful girl." Ashton started to say. you started to cry, knowing where this was going. "I don't like you in that way, I like you more as a friend. I'm sorry." Ashton said and called a waitor over to pay for the food. you left and started to walk home and you were still sobbing.

You stopped once you reached a bench on the sidewalk. You sat down and pulled out your phone, calling Michael. "Hey Y/N, why are you calling?" Michael asked and you completely lost it. "Michael, can you just pick me up at the park by the store." You answered. "Okay, uh, sure. Be right there." Michael told you and you hung up. In that exact moment, Ashton showed up and you cried even harder. "Hi." Ashton said awkwardly. "Wha-what do y-you want?" You said, madly and sadly. "I just wanted to say sorry. After I told you that and then I realized I didn't mean it because I love you. I just didn't know what to do because again I love you." Ashton said. "I- Ashton, no." You said, not wanting to believe him. "Y/N, please just give me a chance." Ashton begged. "No, I think you just feel sorry for me." You said and scooted away from here. Out of no where, Ashton kissed you and you kissed him back. "I love you, y/n, why can't you see it?" Ashton asked and you kissed him again, loving his lips on yours. "I love you too, Ash." You said and smiled. You thought the boys plan didn't work but it did and you couldn't be any more happier because Ashton Irwin, THE Ashton Irwin, loved you.
