Dear Reader,

Thank you very, very much for reading my first book here on Wattpad. I can't express how much I appreciate everyone who has read, voted and commented on this story as I've written it.

In April 2017, I started writing this book a chapter at a time, slowly but surely, sometimes waiting months before updating again because I wanted each chapter to be the best it could be before I hit the 'publish' button. A year and one month later, "I, Immortal" is complete and I can put a fancy little checkmark in the title. Which is actually a super big moment for me, as this is the first novel I have ever given an ending to. Until "I, Immortal," every novel I've ever started to write has never had an ending, left in a notebook on my closet shelf or a document on my computer to be finished 'someday, eventually.' But all of you, in one way or another, inspired me to keep writing and finish this one. I have met some amazing people through Wattpad - people who have motivated me when I haven't written in a while, related to me whenever I felt completely uninspired with writer's block, encouraged me with kind comments whenever I've published a new chapter, and have made me feel at home on Wattpad. I really couldn't have written this book without you all.

I know almost everyone says this about their books, but I mean it when I say I honestly didn't expect so much engagement. As someone who has only just started sharing her writings within the past two years, people telling me they love what I've written feels so surreal. This story started out as the smallest inkling of an idea in my head, with no cemented plot until I had written three-quarters of the book! All I had to go off of was a character named Xander who wanted to have a better life and feel accepted and important, and took the chance to do so by becoming a superhuman. That was it - no plot line, no end in mind. Just a small idea. Eventually, I sat down at my laptop and started writing. One thousand, three hundred and twenty nine words later, I published my first chapter.

I was so excited when I logged on after publishing the first chapter and saw a number next to the 'reads' part of my book, and I've been excited ever since as I watch the number increase. After that, I just kept writing. Word by word. Paragraph by paragraph. Chapter by chapter. Knowing that someone has read my book is one of the best feelings a writer could have.

So...all that to say one honest, heartfelt word: thanks.

Until the next book,
Pnina

Extra note: I'm focusing on editing "I, Immortal" and hope to have the fully edited book available in analog form (either paperback or hardcover) when I've finished! So, if you are like me and enjoy turning paper pages more than swiping a screen, and are interested in having a carbon copy of "I, Immortal" without plot holes or inconsistencies, I will have the book available when editing is complete!
