"Mia you tripping! Fuck, why would I do some shit like that to you out of all people!" I took a deep breath as I listened to August speak. We've been on the phone for an hour, arguing bout the same shit.
"I dont know, August! Tell me how she knew bout everything you said and maybe then I'll believe you."
"You can't do me like that Mia. Iont know how she knew! The bitch crazy." I didn't wanna argue with him but I also didn't wanna end up being hurt. So what do I do? Take a risk or play the safe side? "Mannn, Mia? You mean so much to me and she know that. She mad cuz this right here, what we got going on, aint happening with me and her. Don't listen to her."
I sat down on the park bench trying to calm myself down and really think everything through. August was know as the player but Tanya was know as a liar so this whole situation could go bad either way.
"Look August. I can't do this. This shit crazy forreal."
"Soo, that's it?"
"That's it."
"We done?"
I sucked in a deep breath, preparing myself for the words that were ready to roll off my tongue.
"I gotta protect my heart at all cost so yeah. We done." I could hear him muttering cuss words under his breath before silence came and took over his mutters too.
"Aigght, I'll text ya ass tomorrow cuz we not done. I'm not letting you go that easily."
Before I could say another word, I heard him click off.
I put my phone back in my pocket before standing up getting ready to go when I felt like I was being watched. You know that feeling you get that tries to convince you that you're not the only one around? Well that's what it felt like except these feelings didn't have to try and convince me. I was already convinced.
I turned my head to the left to see the one and only Tanya. She hit me with a sleek smile before walking towards me with her hands behind her back and her stiff weave not making the slightest movement.
I placed my hands on my hips as she stood in front of me now. Chest to chest. "I thought I told you to stay away from August. He's mine." I held in a breath as her dumbass still didn't seem to get the picture.
"Look here, Tanya. August don't want you.. flat out. I honestly don't know what part of this you not understanding but shit looks clear to me! August wants me hunny. He showed it clearly during our phone call so you might as well get over him." Tanya's fist balled at her side as her teeth clenched on to her bottom lip. Im not scared of her; Im scared of what I can do to her. She got closer to my face as I pushed her back. She stumbled before finding her balance again.
"Dumb ass bitch! He bout to get rich and I deserve some money so I'm not letting him go! Fight me for him!" As much as I wanted to lay her ass down, I couldnt do it. Fighting over a guy was out of my character and even though August wasnt just any guy, I still didnt want to whoop her ass over him.
I laughed, "I'm not fighting you over a nigga!" I continued laughing before feeling her fist collide with my jaw. Once the contact was made, everything turned red.
I grabbed her by the collar of her green shirt using my left hand while aiming my right fist directly at her face. Her screams and yelps sounded like distant whispers. I swiped my right foot under her feet making her land on her back before kicking her in her side. She immediately grabbed it as I sat down on top of her letting my punches rain down on her face. I watched the blood being splashed around as i landed punch after punch.
She scratched at my arms before I was lifted off her, carried out of the park, and thrown into the backseat of a silver car.
