Chapter six: Youre In Love With Tyler Evans

Zoeys POV

"Bye mom," I said and walked out the door and waits for hopes to get here. I called her to pick me up to drive me to school. After around 8 minutes f waited I got super impatient. I then felt something vibrate in my back pocket. I got out my phone and checked the text.

H: Hey Zoey. I'm so sorry I can't pick you up from school today. Rly tight schedule and I'm going to be late for school. I'm so sorry... hope you can get  another ride. Cya in a couple hours.

I sigh when I read the text. How am I supposed to get to school. I could text Tyler. I go to this contact and text him.

Z: Hey. Hope can't drive me to school can you?
T: can't already at school want me to come get you

Dude. He's in high school! How is his grammar that bad?

Z: no thanks. But thanks anyways.

I go to gen next one I could text.. Ethan.

Z: Hey Ethan! I don't have a ride to school. Can you come and get me...?
E: Ofc! Send me your address.

When I sent it to him waited for him to come. After around five minutes a white Jeep pulled up. It looks so good! I got in the passenger seat.

"Thank you so much Ethan! I know this is so last minute. I'm so sorry" I said and looked at him. He smiled at me then to road.

"It's no problem really, if you want I can pick you up everyday?" He asks and turns the corner out of my my street. I think about it then shrug.

"Yah, that'd be super. Thank you so much Ethan!" I said and smiled. "I owe you one" I finished and the rest of the car ride was silent. Not awkward and there was no tension. Just silent. When he pulled into the school I gave him one last smile and said thank you again before I headed off to find Audrey.

"Hey Zoey" Audrey said once I found her.

"Hey. How are you?"

"Good why" she said and smiled. That smile seemed fake. I could tell because I knew her for years. 

"I don't know." I said and shrugged. "But that smile was so fake! What's up?" I asked and with worry in my eyes. I love Audrey and seeing her sad makes me sad.

"Nothing." She says and shakes her head. "Just scared for the test." Audrey finishes which makes my eyes widen. We have a test!?

"We have I test!?" I say out loud this time. She laughs then nods.

"In English?" Shes says and I sigh obnoxiously.

"If I fail this test I will have a B in English!" I yell and slam my head on the lockers behind me.

"Um, excuse me but I have to get to my locker." Someone says and I look up to see a gorgeous face. He was smirking and leaned on a locker. There was no way I was leaning on Tyler's locker? Like seriously, what's the chances of that!? 100% apparently.

"Oh. Um. S-Sorry" I stuttered. Why was I stuttering? Like, I've talked to him plenty of times before.

No way! You like him!!
No I don't!!
Why else would you stutter, hm?
Because I was embarrassed!
Stop trying to make it excuses, Zoey! Just admit it! You likkkkkkkkeee him.

"What's wrong?" She smirked snapping me out of my thoughts. "Cat got your tongue?" I blush but turn away to try to hid it.

"No, just thinking." I said and got off his locker.

"You should come here more often," he said touching my shoulder, sending chills down my back. Why did he have this effect on me? I turned around to face him right as he spoke. "Hey Auds" He said and nodded his head. She smiled nodded back.

"Sup," she said. That's weird... she's acting all.. not her. Was she trying to impress Tyler? Doesn't she know that he's my boyfriend! I get annoyed and rest my head on his shoulder and look straight at Audrey. Wait, what was I doing!? I'm being such a bad friend! I then jump off of Tyler's shoulder and he looks down at me.

"What's wrong? Why'd you jump off me like that?" He said searching my eyes. I lol, at him then Audrey giving her a 'I'm so sorry' look and she looked hurt by me. She then shook her head and turned around to walk away.

"Audrey I-" I said but then stopped as she was gone. I sighed and looked back at Tyler.

"What's up?" He said and I sighed. Again.

"Nothing" and with that I leaned on his shoulder again, this time sad. He put an arm around my waist and I closed my eyes. We then sat down leaning on the lockers and I was so comfortable. I loved his scent, cinnamon. His lips tasted like it too, which makes no scenes. But I loved it, I loved everything about him. The way his head titles as he laughs. The way his lips curve even when it's a smirk. The way his jaw clenches when he's shocked or scared. Everything about him was amazing. And I loved it. As I was thinking about him I felt myself drifting off to sleep. I was almost fully asleep when DING.

Stupid bell went off causing me to jump. Tyler laughed and got up. I grounded. I never wanted to leave that spot. It felt like I was safe. And the warmth of his body made em feel all tingly. God damnit Zoey. That's it. You're in love with Tyler Evans.
