It's been two days since I heard anything from Jacob which is new considering he just went out with Katherine two nights ago. I don't know if they hit it off of what.
I picked up the phone and just as I'm about to call Jacob he decided to FaceTime me.
"Hey stranger." I answered. I saw him topless sitting on his bed. "Katherine stood me up." This is a shocking reveal my jaw dropped and my eyes widened. He then continued "Yep she did. I did sent her a text she said she needed to something more important. But anyway I don't need a distraction The Kissing Booth starts to film next week!" He quickly changed the subject and I know for a fact that once he switches the subject, it should never be talked about. Like, ever. So I went along with it.
"Okay. That's great! Did you arrange your schedule already? We need to hang out before your rehearsals or before you start shooting for this film!" I demanded. We made plans on what we're going to do for the remaining days before he starts filming.
"I'm having jitters." He said. I looked at him through the phone in a confused face. "Well why? I mean I know that you're going to go big once this film is out on Netflix but dude, come on. Stop that. Breathe in and breathe out. Remember our drill." I reminded him with our technique if we have jitters. This seemed to calm him down. He's still on his bed, this time he's lying down with his arms above his head seems like he's flexing. Is that what you call it though? Flex? Flexing?
The next few minutes of our conversation were pretty much nonsense. We just talk about stuff on the internet and memes.
"Hey. I have to go. I have this audition I have to do. I'll text you later though. Okay?" I said.
"Yeah yeah. Hey–" and just like that I ended our FaceTime conversation. I have to be ready for this audition and that's exactly what I did.
