I snook on top of roof again and sat there observing the stars. Starring out to the stars seemed to be the only thing I actually enjoyed.

After I was asked to come inside, I replaced my clothes that I was wearing with my nightgown. It seemed to me, I was the only one who thought of this appropriate. I laid down, and that's when the voice began to tell a story.

The stories were told every night by my brothers and sister, rarely my father. This time the story was told by Hercules.

After I drifted asleep, I despised the tall golden gates that laid before me. I cautiously stalled so I didn't have to enter. Clouds surrounded me everywhere until I reached my destination. I was outside the Greek empire. It was held by beautiful white pillars with vines. I slowly walked inside, admiring the red carpet that laid among me.

I saw the throne of my father, as he sat in it, watching my steps. I looked around and saw my brothers and sisters. All of them; aligned equally to my father and Herna, who sat next to him in her own throne.

"It's time!" My brothers and sisters turned to him. "As Ares, I grant you the gift of war!" I nodded and bowed in thanks. After a shorten amount of silence, it was disrupted. "As Demeter: I grant you the gift of nature!" I nodded and bowed. "As I Apollo, give you the gift to heal" I smiled and bowed in thanks to him.

As Hygeia was about to speak, she was silenced by my father. "Amelia, you will soon find your duty. The earth depends on you. After you may join us." He felt the bolt in his hand, and it made me in much fear. "Father, what are you speaking about, in all respect." He stayed silence as he observed his sons and daughters. "Your powers are for you to find out, watch on all surroundings. We will be watching. Now, since this is the year: I lend you the power of mine."

I placed my hands on my mouth, mainly in shock. It was already hard to conceal my powers, but I had to remained in complete silence. "What's happening?" I asked taking a quite interest. He remained quiet and gave me the lighting bolt that was held in his hand. "Use all gifts that were given, all come in hand! You're intelligence will get you where you need to be." I nodded.

"Go on!'' I walked out with no response. Zeus was muscular, and about 7-ft. It made me fear him, although he was my father.

I woke up to the aching headache that I usually get after a intense dream. I woke up hazy, I tried to recognize my current location. My dreams are my reality, sometimes it felt complicated to figure where I was at times. I walked to my mirror, and begun to comb my hair. I twisted it, as it led down to my knees. Aphrodite is to thank.

I slowly placed my brush down and went down stairs. I stumbled across a couple of stairs, until I reached the bottom.

"Hunny are you alright?" My mom said rushing towards me. I nodded. I rarely talked, not even to my mother. It was just the negative affect of these powers. It took a lot of energy from me.

It's understandable, I had the since that most humans couldn't. I observed things to deeply, I counted every stripe that was on the wall's wallpaper, every tile that was on the ground, ever person I came across.

"I'm sending you to school, I enrolled you. You start Monday." I nodded knowing that was my father's doing. This must be apart of my duty.

I slowly got up and went outside "I'm going to be outside!" I said calmly, it was probably the only time I talked this week. My mom smiled. I wanted to test these powers that I received.

I walked outside and went straight to the tree. To my own surprise the vine rapped around my arm. It caused me to giggle. I walked to the bush that contained un-bloomed flowers. I placed my hand on the flower and it caused it to bloom. I smiled simply.

Since I couldn't attempt to do the gift of healing I was going to try my father's. I slowly lifted My hand after looking around. I crunched it and lightning appeared making me fall back. It continued but I didn't know how to stop it. I picked up my hand yet it didn't work. So I shouted, "STOP", assuming it was my father. It stopped.

I went inside, and my mother was starring at me. "That was you?" I nodded. She than sat down and tears gathered in her eyes. "Oh my, it's time!" She said surprising me, making me follow her to where she as sitting. I looked at her and tilted my head. "I should've known, you aren't ready. I should've been more considerate."

"Mom!" I shouted. She just looked at me, and starred. "You'll know when it's time."

I turned and starred out the window, still sitting on the couch. What was everyone talking about. What is my duty? Everyone kept mentioning it.

I walked to the kitchen, to stumble upon a cake. It was beautifully designed. "You like it?" I nodded slowly. My smile appeared and it widened. I hugged my mother. She made it a Greek theme, she knew how much I was interested in my second life.

"I made your favorite dinner!" I smiled and clapped my hands. I grabbed my rubber band and place my hair in horsetail. My hair still seemed to past my mid-thigh.

"I boiled it, just like you liked it, and removed it's shell!" I grinned as wide as possible as she gave me a bowl of fresh boiled shrimp and broccoli rice. I walked to the table, and began eating. My mother watched me, after joining.
