As soon as I got back home I could tell the potion had gotten out of hand, just about everyone was acting like zombies!

"Glad you are home dear." my mother spoke.

"Yes, glad, yes." my father repeated.

"Can I get you anything, your highness?" Naomi said with no reaction.

"Yes actually, could you get me some iced tea. Three cups?"

Naomi trotted to the kitchen and brought back our glasses. I poured the liquid into each glass and none of them hesitated. There drank it all up.

"Do you feel alright Naomi? Mother? Father?"

"Yes, I suppose. Just a bit dazed." my mother responded.

"Yeah, what happened?" my dad puzzled.

"You were all infected by the potion. It was expired so it acted up, didn't follow what was supposed to happen."

"Well thanks for saving us... again." Naomi said shyly.

"Yeah, I don't know what we would ever do without Zozo!" my mother and father smiled.

From now on our family was happy, Naomi went on living with us but as a friend. I memorized the route to Fawn's house and we didn't have a care in the world. It was almost too perfect! ... but I enjoyed it without question. I just let life carry on.

"Good morning honey," my mom now said in a less creepy way.

"Good morning darling," my dad said in a less stealth way.

We all were great! Just simply, utterly great. But somewhere around the world in a secret underground layer stood Queeny.

"Well, it feels great to be out of that stale cage doesn't it, my King," she glared at someone who looked exactly like my father.

"Much so my dearest," he said just as malicious as she sounded.
