Next day, Daisy woke up with a massive headache and she felt her head spinning. She woke up and went straight to the bathroom.
Later, she thought of James and again she was sad about last night. She felt bad for leaving him like that. She never has done that before.
She didn't called him, instead she drove to his house directly.
Parking the car, she walked to his gate and rang the bell. James's father opened the gate and pulled her in a tight hug. He had always loved Daisy as his daughter and he was also friend's with her father.
Hey Mr. Thompson, How you doing? She said and hugged him back.
Doing good! And how about you?
I'm just fine, she said smiling but the sadness in her voice was audible.
What happened Dais? Asked Mr. Thompson, he has always called her Dais. He thought it suited her more.
Nothing. Where's James?
He isn't with you? I tried calling him but his phone was off and I thought that he might be at your house. He didn't showed up yesterday after the party.
Daisy was blank for a moment. She was tired and sad already but hearing that made her heart stop. She blinked a few times and then ran off.
Dais, what's up? Mr. Thompson shouted from behind.
Nothing! I'll get him, don't worry. She shouted back and drove off leaving him confused.
James has done this before. He used to stay at Daisy's without informing since his childhood so it wasn't unexpected or all of a sudden.
Daisy tried calling him but it was still switched off and it made her heart skipped beats. She thought of last night and blamed herself for leaving him alone. He has never been apart from her and never really switched off his phone.
She thought of Malik, and dialed his number.
Hey Daisy! What's up? Asked Malik.
Malik, where's James? He hasn't been at home since last night.
He went with Tasha the other night so might be with her. Don't know.
Who's Tasha? Daisy asked instantly.
Umm, well, Tasha is my friend and she was present yesterday, if you remember. The girl James was talking to?
Daisy's mouth dried and her heart stopped beating. She felt her blood boiling with anger and jealousy she never felt before.
Text me her address asap. She said sternly and disconnected the call.
Just in 3 minutes she received the address and drove to her house.
She reached the door and started ringing the bell.
After 10 minutes, a girl wrapped in a bathroom robe opened the door.
Yes? Tasha asked. She looked like a mess. Her hair all frizzy and face dry. Eyes red like she was high on weed.
Is James here? Daisy showed no emotion and asked straightforward.
Umm, Yes and who are you?
Just send him here, right now.
Tasha raised an eyebrow and looked at Daisy with a flat face.
Who are you? She asked again.
I'm his best friend and now and send him right now or I'll smack your face hard, bitch. Daisy spatted out not realising what she just said.
