Ace Draven (Shown Above)

It was clear she was pissed. I wasn't sure if it was because of me or because of Brendan...

He was an ass to her. Most people know they dated for two years and then broke up out of what seemed like nowhere. I had learned about what happened through Jess, her best friend.

She had given him everything, and he abused her. She couldn't go out with friends and she would come to school with bruises barely hidden with makeup. He was possesive and a complete ass to her.

When I eventually found out what had happened I went to his house and beat the living shit out of him. Broke his arms, nose and jaw.

Sorry not sorry.

She still doesn't know that was me and I hope she never figures it out.

After about ten minutes of driving around I saw my house come into view. I unbuckled my seat belt and got ready to jump out when she stopped. That's why I was so damn confused when she went right past my place.

"What the hell are you doing? You just flew right past my house Ally?" I said as I whipped my head towards her.

"You know where we're going. It used to be our safe place, you know, back when we used to be friends..." she whispered.

I felt a pang in my heart, you could hear the pain in her voice. I hated to be the one that hurt her, it was tearing me up inside.

I saw our old tree house and I could feel her old truck slowing down as we got closer. When we came to a stop and she turned the truck off you could almost feel the tension in the air.

"What happened to this place?" I asked as I climbed out and shut the door.

There were old egg splatters all over it, bullet holes, and boards falling off of our old safe place. It was absolutely trashed and I wanted to kick whoevers ass did it.

"Well when me and Brendan broke up I came here when I couldn't find you. I needed to be alone. I decided to go for a walk and after about five minutes I heard yelling and the sound of guns. Brendan and his goons were trashing it. When they caught sight of me, I ran as fast as I could but I guess I wasn't fast enough..." Her voice broke on the last word and it was clear she was struggling to keep it together.

I wanted to hold her tight and never let go. My heart was thudding against my chest as I stepped closer to her.

"WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?" she screamed at me.

I turned away from her, I couldn't tell her that I was drunk off my ass at a party when all of this was going down. I couldn't tell her that the only reason Brendan knew where to find her because I told him.

Her little fists started hitting my chest as she cried. I let her hit me, I deserved that and much worse. She was in pain because of me and that was something I would never let myself forget.

I would never forgive myself for this...

"I needed you, and you just left...." she had stopped hitting me, her words were hurting me more than her fists ever could.

"I'm so sorry Ally... I never meant for any of this to happen" I didn't know what to do.

I sunk to the ground with her and I just held her while she cried. When she eventually stopped and only hiccups were left I pulled away slightly and wiped away her tears.

"I promise Ally, I'll never leave you again. I'm here now, if you want me to be."I calmly told her. My heart was about to burst out of my chest as I waited for her answer.

If she told me to leave and never talk to her ever again then I would. I know what I just said, about how I would never leave her again, but if she doesn't want me in her life theres not much I can do about it.

After what seemed like an eternity but was probably only two minutes I heard her sweet voice, still tinged with sadness.

"Promise?" she whispered as she looked up at me.

"I promise" I whispered back, hugging her close to my chest.

As I stood up I pulled her up with me. As we made our way back to her truck I made a promise to myself. I was going to fix up our old safe place and I was going to surprise her with it.

That wasn't the only promise I made to myself that day, I had also promised myself that I would get her to trust me again. I would win back my best friend.

Allisons Charls

I was driving him back to his house and the cab of my truck was almsot silent except for the quiet rumbling of the radio. It hardly worked anymore but I didn't have the money to fix it up.

When I dropped him off at his house I was about to pull away when he came running back towards the truck.

I rolled down my window my heart thumping so loud I was sure he could hear it.

"I forgot my phone" he chuckled quietly.

Oh... right. I leaned over and grabbed it from where he was sitting only seconds ago. I turned and handed it to him through the window.

I smiled back at him as he started walking backwards towards his open garage. I couldn't help but bust out laughing when he tripped over a wrench is his garage and fell flat on his ass.

He was always doing silly and stupid things like that, it never failed to make me grin like an idiot.

As I drove back towards my house I couldn't wipe the silly grin off my face. Even after everything that had happened today, being around him always put me in a good mood.

It was like I was on cloud nine the entire ride back home. My mood quickly faltered when I saw the all too familiar black mustang in my driveway.

The devil himself was leaning against the hood waiting for me.

Brendan was here, and I felt trapped once again.
