Chapter 6

Cody’s pov:

 “Cody Chant, go and clean your room right this minute!” Mum shouted.

 “Later mum, I promise!”

 “I swear Cody if u don’t clean your room now you will be grounded for life, for life I tell you.” screamed mum. She was so furious that she got me-the laziest person in the universe-to actually go and cleans my room.

When I finished, I lay on my bed and had a nap because I was so tired (its hard work cleaning a room) and also because I need a break from my mum.

 -2 hours later-

Buzz buzz. I was half asleep when my phone started to ring. I checked my phone and on the screen the name “cara” appeared. That was the only thing that made me answer the phone; cara is my ultimate best friend, sister from another mother, the ying to my yang etc. Whenever she rings my phone I pick it up no matter what im doing cause I know she will do the same to me. She’s my shoulder to cry on and im hers. She helped me when my mum and dad divorced and I helped her when she got raped. If it wasn’t for her, god knows where I will be no. Anyways picked up the phone as usual and the first thing I heard was a scream…

 “A hello would be nice instead of a scream,” I said a tiny bit angry.

 “Oh sorry code its just that im so frustrated with Luke, he doesn’t care about sleeping together with a his best girl friend in fact he was like I slept with a pretty girl so, SO!!!”

 “Wooaah, calm down and slow down cara, I still don’t understand.”

 “What is there not to understand the girl doesn’t care that he slept with his best friend?”

 “You could have just said that cara, anyways well that obviously means that he’s not a good best guy friend so ditch him.” it seemed like the most simplest solution and the most obvious.

 “Yeah that’s easy for you to say don’t u understand; no matter how much I hate him now I love him and I always will so no I cant just ditch him.”Cara explained. She actually cried as well as that is very rare, she obviously loves Luke. a lot.  That was when I had an idea.

 “Look cara its okay I know what to do so bye.” I hung up the phone because I didn’t want to hear what she had to say, it would probably be a contradiction to my suggestion. Im off to Lukes house now.

 To tell him that cara his (best friend) is in love with him.
