Jarvis POV

I was dumbstruck when I saw email from Sheryl, she was just a friend. Whose life I have saved once. But I never expected this. She was sister of Mira. And more surprising was the content of the email. As I read it, tears came in my eyes

'Don't go hard on her, please. She needs to search herself in chaos. You saved my life, hers depend on you too"

Could Sheryl think of more emotional lines than this?

I some how answered her back a small note saying that she doesn't have to worry.

I went down the stairs, in my eyes was a glint of hope, the world was scattering and I was picking up pieces. How ironic

Sheryl and Jay.. Are more related to me than I thought. Universe was giving me hints that I could not understand.

"Sir you got a meeting at eight"

"Thanks for reminder jade"

Tomorrow Mira is joining, office should be grand for her. I want her to like this place. She must be happy here to forget her previous life and be happy.

I don't want her to be mine so desperate. But I want her to feel the life which she deserves.

As I reached home, I was welcomed by charming smile of my lovely wife Monica

I didn't wait in living area, didn't say a word. Just walked towards the pool. Where I felt the cold air and water together giving a taste that life is giving me these days

I felt a soft hand over my shoulder

"Monica, I .." I began to say something but she stopped me

"I know, I know it's hard to forget past. Specially if it has a great impact on you"

" I just want her to be happy" I said in defeat. Mira may have been my love once. But Monica is here with me as companion to me. And I would never leave her. And now very soon I am going to be father of her child. My all happiness starts here with Monica and ends here too.

"I trust you Jarvis"

"Thanks Monica, I needed someone to understand me. I know u always understand me"

" you get ready, while dinner is laid"

"I m ready to get laid, my love"

She smiled. And that was all I wanted

Next day, I entered office with a new zeal. And suddenly I saw Mira.

"Mrs Mira, to get started with your work. I want you to take a look at our office" I turned "Jade will please show her around, I would be glad if you get her induction done"

Jade nodded and left with Mira.

Few minutes later I got a text from Monica

'I would be going for a dinner meeting'
