The Dark Prince {MariChat}

Chapter 4

After what happened last night, Marinette couldn't stop thinking about it. She had never seen that side of Chat Noir before. He was so passionate, it almost made her eager for him to come back later tonight. Her thoughts were interrupted by her alarm clock going off, meaning she had to head to school. Groaning, she reached out for her phone and turned off the alarm. She was then greeted by Tikki. "Good morning Marinette!" She said, smiling brightly. There was something about Tikki's personality that always lit up Marinette's mornings. She gave her a warm smile as a greeting. "Good morning Tikki~" She replied. Although Marinette was awake, she still couldn't help but keep thinking about that encounter with Chat Noir last night. Who knew the guy who makes the stupid cat puns all the time could end up being so mysterious and dark. She knew she couldn't keep this information bottled up inside her and she knew there was only one person she could trust with this. Marinette quickly whipped out her phone and texted Alya. "Alya! Get to school on time today, something happened last night and I HAVE to tell someone about it or I will explode." Once the text was sent, she got dressed, went downstairs for breakfast and then was out the door.

Alya kept her promise and was waiting outside the school. When the two girls noticed each other they gave a warm smile and waved. "Hey girl! What was so important that you-" Alya was cut off by Marinette dragging her arm. "Come with me, I want to tell you in private." Making sure no one was in the girls bathroom, she looked around and shut the door behind her. "So? Spill the beans. What happened to you last night that you were going to explode if you didn't tell me?" Marinette was twiddling her fingers, trying to think about how she was going to tell Alya this. Once she gathered up the courage she spoke. "Alya, I had a very weird, yet satisfying encounter last night with Chat Noir." Alya looked slightly confused at her response. "What do you mean by weird yet satisfying?" Marinette thought again before speaking. "Well... he sorta, came in to my room last night before I fell asleep. At first I was terrified because I didn't know who it was. He then spoke, I instantly knew it was him. He said he'd been admiring me for so long, that I'm the first thing he thinks about before he sleeps and when he wakes up. And... then he..." Marinette blushed before speaking the next part. "What? He WHAT??!" Alya flailed her arms in suspense, eager to hear Marinette's answer. She looked at Alya, still blushing. "He kissed me, well, more like I sorta pulled him in for the kiss. And uh.. sorta left a small love bite..." Marinette showed her the tiny bruise on her neck that Chat kindly left last night. She expected Alya to be confused by the situation, but she was beaming. "Girl, that's crazy!! But, what about Adrien?" Marinette's shoulders fell. "I... I don't know. I mean don't get me wrong, I still have a MAJOR crush on him... But Chat is just so sweet, and caring, and he certainly loves me. I don't know, I guess I'll just have to think about it." Alya smiled and patted her back gently. They both noticed it was class time so they left the bathroom and headed upstairs to their classroom.

***Later that day***

"Time to de-evilize!!" Ladybug and Chat Noir had just finished saving an akumatized victim once again. Of course the two of them didn't let their personal feelings get in the way of their work, but Chat was getting too close at times and she put him in his place. "Pound it!" The two of them touched fists as the victim slowly morphed back into their old self. Once the two of them were out of sight, Marinette changed back into her civilian self, Chat still close by. "Good job M'Lday, another saved victim. We sure do make a perfect team hm?~" Chat smirked and winked at Marinette. "Of course we do kitty~" She felt her stomach swoop and a blush spreading across her face. Chat leaned in closer to Marinette, but suddenly heard his miraculous start blinking. He groaned in annoyance at the sound, meaning he had to leave. "I should be heading out now princess." Chat leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you later tonight~" He smirked and then headed out of her sight. Marinette stood there, still blushing madly. "What does he plan on doing?" She thought to herself.

Just when they thought they were alone, someone watched that whole ordeal go down between them just now, and snapped a picture of Chat kissing Marinette's cheek. "Just wait until everyone at school sees this~" Said Chloe, walking away while laughing mischievously.

Fucking Chloe coming in to try to ruin everything ONCE AGAIN. But we all know her plans never work ;)

Anywayssssssssss I had to update again! I was having a good thought going and I couldn't help it! I just didn't want to lose the idea.
