Imagine...Life Saver

Ergh I just missed a major fire and I'm irritated 😂

I was sitting in my room, on the phone with my best friend Kat.

"Did you really?" I asked, surprised.

"Yup! And I don't regret a thing." Kat said, explaining about her ex boyfriend.

"Ha such a-" I was interrupted by the sound of crackeling and the smoke detector. Curious, I walk over to my door, just to be shot back by surprise onto my floor. Fire surrounded me. I grabbed my phone as best as I could and dialed 911.

"911, what is your emergency?" The operator said.

"Yes. My house is on fire and I'm trapped in my room." I say in tears. "Can you send the fire department quick?" I say in fear.

"Don't worry honey. They're on their way! Where's your address?" The operator asks.

"121 West Street, Townsend Delaware." I say.

"Okay. They're on their way. Stay on the phone for me okay?" The operator lady said.

"I'll try" I said, trying to find a safe place to hide.

Minutes fly as I hear the sounds of Federal Q's and Sirens full the air.

"FIRE DEPARTMENT! CALL OUT!" I hear repeatedly.

"HELP IM IN THE BACK BEDROOM!" I shout, scared for my life.

"CMON I HEAR SOMEONE!" The firefighter says. I start to cough as i hear the sound of my door being broke down.

"WHERE ARE YOU?" The fireman shouts.

"RIGHT HERE!" I say. In a matter of seconds, I feel myself being pulled and onto someone's shoulder.

"LETS GET OUT OF HERE!" He shouts. I cry in fear as we are exiting my home. I get put on the ground as I can barely hear anything and my vision is blurry.

"Honey can you hear me?" The paramedic says.

"Barely." I hardly say.

"What's your name?" She says.

"Y-Y/N" I get out.

"Ok Y/N we are going to take you to the hospital okay? I'm going to need you to stay awake for me!" She says, as the firemen put me on a stretcher, carrying me to an ambulance.

I get into the ambulance and suddenly black out.

"She's going into intergalactic shock we need to get her there quick." I barely hear the paramedic say.

••skip to hospital••

I'm being rushed into a hospital room barely hearing things like "17 year old, female, got trapped in house fire, slow breathing." And "get her into the room!"

(Sorry I haven't done Justin yet, I'm getting there 😂)

••skip to 3 months later••

I was out of the hospital, with slight burns, but healthy as can be. I watch the news who is still on the story about my fire when I get a call from the fire station.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Good morning, is this Y/N Y/L/N?" The man says.

"Yes this is she." I say.

"Perfect. The fireman who got you out of your house while it was on fire, is getting an award for saving your life. We wanted to know if you would like to come to the ceremony." The man said. I was surprised.

"Yes sir! When will this be?" I ask.

"This will occur this Saturday. At the Townsend Church." He says.

"Ok I'll be there! Thank you sir!" I say.

"You're welcome ma'am, have a good rest of your day." The man says.

"Thank you. You too." I say, hanging up. I put the phone down and grab a nice outfit for Saturday.

"On the day of April 23rd, Townsend Firefighters Justin Bieber and Jason McCann, entered a blazing house despite the enormous danger to themselves and saved a young girl's life. Now normally, I'd present the medal, but today we have someone more important and certainly better looking." The crowd giggles at his remark, along with me. "Y/N Y/L/N."

The crowd claps as I walk out onto the stage.

"Firefighter Justin Bieber." The announcer said he walks up onto the stage with a smile in pride. I take the medal and look at him.

"Thank you." I say, hugging him. He hugs back in return and smiles, giving me a sign of 'You're welcome' he smiles towards the crowd, takes the medal, and walks off the stage.

"Firefighter Jason McCann." The announcer said, pointing. He also walks up to the stage with pride and a smile. I give him the medal with a smile.

"Thank you." I say, also giving him a hug.

"You're welcome sweetheart." He says. He walked off the stage and back to his seat. I listen to the claps as I smile, thankful for all the first responders who got time to where I am now.

Halo. Like I said UGH I missed a working fire and I'm madddd 🤯😂 but I'll get over it. 😂 I gave you a long one because of not updating a lot so yaaa!
Q: Do you have any First Responders in your family?
A: (I want to answer 😂) it's in my blood tbh. My Poppop is the president of the company. My dad's the first assistant chief and my uncle is the chief. Me being a Junior member ❤️
