Ghost Of You

In year 1 Calum met a boy in the Hogwarts Express. He sat alone so Calum sat next to him. When they arrived they were already friends. The boys name was Michael and he was an only child. People think he's weird, thats what he told Calum. But Calum thought that Michael was funny and hoped they would be friends in Hogwarts. They stood together as they waited to get sorted. Michael was sorted first and ended up in Slytherin, Calum in Gryffindor. But even if the houses are rivals they would stay friends.

In year 2 Calum and Michael were inseparable and hung out all the time. Mikey, thats what Calum called him, learned with him because he had better grades than Calum. The houses didn't matter to them. After Calum had a breakdown in the toilet Mikey comforted him. Thats when Calum told Mikey the truth about his parents. He told Mikey they were busy but that was a lie. Calums parents died in the First Wizarding War. That's why he stayed in Hogwarts through the Holidays. After learning that Mikey took Calum with him over the holidays. Soon Michaels family became Calums too.

In year 3 Calum felt different about Michael. He didn't saw him as a brother anymore. After some time he realised that he had a crush on his Mikey Mouse. He was ashamed and disgusted about himself and he wouldn't meet up with Michael anymore. The only thing Calum didn't know was that Michael felt the same.

In year 4 they still did a lot together. Michael would still learn with Calum in the library and they would go to Quidditch games together. But deep down they still were awkward about the other. They thought that the other one wouldn't feel the same and were afraid about rejection. Michael loved how strong Calum was and that he was more brave than others but deep down Calum was really shy. Calum loved how Michael would never give up and how he just could make you smile and how protective he was about people he loved. But Mikey was everything Calum had left.

In year 5 everything changed. One night Michael heard Calum crying in his bed. It were summer holidays so they stayed at Michaels place just like the years before. Michael got to Calum and layed down next to him. He wiped Calums tears away. His heart broke everytime he saw the person he loved crying. They both accepted themselves but still didn't talked about it. But as soon as Calum told Michael that everything he loved left, Michael kissed him. He couldn't stand the thought about Calum being sad anymore and just wanted Calum to be happy. And after Calum kissed him back, Michael knew Calum was happy.

In year 6 they still were in love with each other. Now after every Quidditch game Michael would patch Calum up and kissed him (just because Calum told him to kiss the pain away so he gets more kisses). They were really happy with each other. After their first kiss it felt like every piece fall back in place. Like their souls belong together. Sometimes they just laid outside near the Quidditch field and Michael would do some magic spells. He created some by himself and only showed them Calum. Because he was his everything. The boy with the colorful hair and green eyes just couldn't help himself but adored everything about his boyfriend. He was everything he needed in life. They were each others home.

In year 7 Calum sat by Michaels side. The Second Wizarding War just arrived Hogwarts. They decided to stay and fight. They would graduate soon but they wanted to have a hopeful future together. The boys were going to move in together but this time without parents. They wanted to adopt children because Calum knew how a life without parents and love felt. But that changed after meeting Michael. Soon they were in the battle and fought for everything they loved. While fighting a death eater Calum watched Michael who did the same. He just had to watch how his Mikey got killed. Another death eater killed him from behind. Calums whole heart and soul broke. He screamed his name and ran towards them, fighting everyone on his way. He carried Michael to the other people who got hurt and cried out for help. He pressed Michael's body against his own and whispered that everything is going to be okay and that Michael has to wake up. But he never did. Calum was all alone again.

Years later Calum brings his little daughter to the Hogwarts Express. He had adopted her as a baby. She reminds him of Mikey. She made him feel alive again. Something in him told him that it was time to move on and deep down he feels like it was the love of his life. Calum kisses his daughters forehead and she just smiles, tells him she loves him and disappeared in the train. She was pale, has green eyes and blonde hair. Just like Michael. He waves as the Express leaves and she presses her hand against the window. She sat alone because it was her first year and she didn't knew anyone. But he knew she would make friends soon. As Calum is about to leave he sees a boy with colorful hair and green eyes looking at him,smiling. He still sees Michael sometimes but not as much as he used to. Michael would be proud of him. He smiles back and he feels how the tears run down his cheeks. Calum changed. The blond streaks Michael used to make Calum were long gone. He wasn't shorter than Michael anymore and he grew up fast. He was an Auror now,just like his parents before they died. He never wanted to happen something like the lasts wars again. But Michael would always look the same. Because Michael was dead. Cal looks at his hand, seeing the ring Michael gave him shortly before the battle started. Thats was the only thing left from Michael except the memories of Michael. He was just a ghost inside his memories now.
