Chapter 21: Did he hear him right?

3rd Person's pov

Mahiru wake up early in the morning. He first blink once and twice before deciding to sat up and stretched a while. He was greeted by the sight of Kuro who sleep below his bed on a soft Matress that Mahiru prepared for the Vampire. Is Just Mahiru was concerned that Kuro will had another nightmare so he invited Kuro to sleep with him in the bed, As embarrassing as it sound, If that will help Kuro. He will shoo the embarrassment away.

But Kuro refuses that it will be such a pain to sleep beside Mahiru.

But, Kuro's true reason is that he might do something unnecessary things towards Mahiru or he might not be sleep because The peaceful face of Mahiru will help his Heart Beat faster.

So Kuro decided to sleep in his cat Form in the basket that Mahiru prepared, But there is this time Mahiru caught Kuro in the middle of the night just poof and transfer hisself to a human form with no trouble at all still asleep.

So Mahiru decided to get the soft futton, and Matress that he use to sleep in when his Father came home. It was confortable and soft so it won't be a problem and it seems Kuro like it.

Mahiru chuckle seeing how Kuro was in peace sleeping with a blue blanket over him while hugging a soft pillow.

Mahiru slowly climbed out of the bed and check his phone.

Oh God!

His late!

He quickly went towards the kitchen and prepared breakfast immediately. Its just a simple breakfast and all.

After that, as heartbreaking as it sound he wake Kuro up.

"Kuro! Wake up! I'm gonna be late!" Mahiru harshly wake Kuro, Since he knows gentle wake up can't wake Kuro up.

Kuro groan and burried his face in the pillow even more.

"5 minutes..." he said and groan.

"Kuro! your 5 Minutes will turn into 5 Hours now get up already or You will be left behind." Mahiru warned Kuro.

Kuro sigh, he really doesn't like to get out of his own Matress he admit this place where he sleeps is more comfortable than the couch, the basket and his own bed at Home, Which he considered that he won't be going anytime soon.

He forcefully got up with a half lided eyes and went to the kitchen, he and Mahiru eat the breakfast. Mahiru it faster which Kuro did warned that he might Chock.

Mahiru ignore because he was late. Kuro sigh in relief that Mahiru didn't chock but he was shock when Mahiru run towards the Bathroom almost Tripping over with something. Good thing Mahiru have controlled his balance immediately.

"What a pain... Your so troublesome..." kuro said as he eat the breakfast. He got the plate and do the dishes. He always do this since he notice Mahiru was doing All the Chores in the house. He was concerned about Mahiru's action not taking a rest, It might be an early death to Mahiru.

Beside in their home, the 8 siblings take rounds on washing some plates. Tsubaki, Lawless and World are an exception because instead the plates will be clean, The plates will be come in thousand pieces which piss Mother and the three of them got Mother's punishment. And it was Something Kuro didn't want to experience so As much as it annoyance him he do some dishes too.

As he was done, Kuro tranform to his Cat form and rest near the door. It was exactly time that Mahiru went out of his Room a bag on his shoulder and was wearing a uniform. Kuro sigh and went jump to his eve's Shoulder. Mahiru run off.
