This handy reference book is, as its title indicates, a collection of current English words and their equivalent translation or transliteration in the new Filipino language.
Many writers and great channels of communication have contributed to this book's being brought into reality. In particular, I wish to salute the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino for their active role in the development of Philippine Orthography. Their comprehensive and careful work for the formation of Filipino words has done much to guarantee precision and readable fashion.
Let us now, therefore, move towards the use of unique Filipino phonetic or pronunciation spelling and see what happens if we construct a national language which retains and practices the sound of English words.
