The Last Day and The Voice

Juvia P.O.V

          The sun light temporarily blinded me as I rolled out of bed. I stretched my arms in the air and yawned.

          Did you really think you could get away, Juvia?

          His voice. But where? I quickly turned around everywhere to find the origin of the voice. But there was nothing.

          Hahaha. You're pathetic! The voice growled. Just wait until I get you, Juvia. You will regret running away. I'll see you soon.

          I dropped to my knees and held the top of my head tightly. He was inside my head. I screamed an ear shattering scream at the top of my lungs.

          "Juvia!" Gray burst through the door. "What happened? Are you alright?" My eyes were wide. The voice was gone. My whole body shaking.

          "The... the voice." I managed to get out shakily.

          "What voice?" He asked worriedly.

          "He's coming." I looked into his worried eyes.

          "Come on." He grabbed my hand and we ran out of his apartment. I was still in my pajamas, but that didn't matter. My step dad was coming and I wasn't safe.

          We ran all the way to Fairy Tail. My hand in his. We flew threw the door. Everyone's eyes on us. Lucy rushed over. 

          "What happened?" She questioned.

          "He's coming for me right now. I, I'm not safe anymore." I began to freak out.

          "Don't worry. You have Fairy Tail. You're always safe." Natsu grinned.

          "Are you okay?" Levy asked in a concerned tone.

          "Physically, yes. Emotionally, no." I answered, feeling tears brimming my eyes. I got hugs from the girls in the guild, while the guys stood back and planned.

          They all tried saying nice soothing things to help calm me down. But inside of me was a war zone. Happiness from my new friends, but hurt because of the situation.

Gray P.O.V

          "Alright, what's the plan?" I asked the rest of the guys, plus Erza. We all sat down at a table and began discussing.

          "Well we obviously have to keep Juvia from getting kidnapped but we don't even know what magic her step dad uses or how tough he is." Natsu crossed his arms.

          "We will have a group that guards Juvia. Another group will wait around for him to come around. We will have one more small group that goes looking for him." Erza planned.

          "We can use Warren or a communication lacrima to communicate." Romeo added.

          "Good thinking." Macao praised his son.

          "Alright good plan." Others agreed.

          We all agreed on the plan and began to discuss more in to it. That was until we heard a ear piercing scream. All of us turned around to see Juvia on the floor and all the girls around her.

          I ran over. Juvia was flat on the ground her eyes wide open, not her usual navy blue color though. They were pale blue. Her face was blank. But she was still breathing.

Juvia P.O.V

          Darkness. All around me. An empty void which I am alone. "Do you really think they can save you, Juvia." I heard a masculine voice.

          "Who are you? Who's there?!" I scaredly questioned.

          "Oh, you should know." The man said. I stared around the darkness until I saw him. "Do you remember now?"

          My heart stopped beating the second I saw his face. Short black hair, piercing yellow eyes, tanned skin. Step Father. "Please don't hurt Juvia." I cowered in fear.

          "I can't hurt you here. But, when I get you back, you're going to hurt." He chuckled evily. "Now, I'd say good bye to your pathetic little friends. When I come, you'll never see them again."

          "They won't let you take me." I said with confidence.

          "They will all be mush by the time I'm done! All of them dead. And it'll be all your fault. You should've stayed home."

          He disappeared in to the darkness. A bright light flashed and now I was in the infirmary. Lucy sat in a chair in a corner and Gray in a chair beside the bed I was in.

          They soon noticed I was moving and rushed over to my side. I cried at the sight of them. He's right, it is my fault all this crap is happening.

          "Juvia, are you okay?" Gray and Lucy asked in unison.

          Lucy wiped the tears from my face. "I can't stay here." I whispered.

          "Wait wha?" Gray asked confusedly.

          I took in a deep breath. "I can't stay here." I repeated. Both Gray and Lucy gave me a look of shock and confusion.

          "What are you talking about?" Worriedly, Lucy held my hand. I gently retreated my hand.

          "If... If I stay, you will all end up hurt and this is all my fault. Non of you should be in this. I shouldn't have-"

          "Stop right there. We are now your family Juvia. Whether you like it or not. If we get hurt, so be it. As long as it was to protect family." Gray interrupted me.

          My heart ached. There was so much love from Fairy Tail. But if they were to get hurt, I can't help to think that its my fault. I caused this all. My problems have been poured all over Fairy Tail. All because of me.

          Gray and Lucy took my hands into theirs. "Don't worry, Juvia. We're Fairy Tail." Lucy smiled.

          "We will fight 'til the bitter end." Gray added. I couldn't help but to smile at them. In all this craziness, they still smile. Although I haven't known these people long, I know I can trust them. They are my one and only family. And I couldn't be happier.

          I pulled them both into a hug. Gray's head on my left shoulder and Lucy's on my right. I happily, yet sadly, sobbed into their shoulders.

          "Thank you, Gray, Lucy." I quietly thanked them. Suddenly, Erza came in.

          "We have suspicions. Its time." She stated. Gray looked at me but then to Erza and nodded.

          "Here we go." Gray said. Please, Gray, don't get hurt.
