Recovery

Gray P.O.V

          After I had killed Joseph, his minions all started disappearing one by one. Natsu pushed through the doors of the guild.

          "What happened? I was in the middle of a fight and-" Natsu stopped ranting once he saw the dead body and Juvia's unconscious body.

          "Is she okay?" He rushed over to where I sat with Juvia in my arms. One after one, another Fairy Tail member walked in. Some gasped when the saw Juvia. I told them she was okay. I took her upstairs to the infirmary.

           Her breathing was shallow and rough. Eventually they became regular. Deep, soft, and slow.

           Lucy came in to the infirmary along with Lisanna, Levy and Natsu. "How's she doing?" Lucy softly asked, not trying to awaken Juvia.

           "Better." I shortly answered.

           "Has Wendy come to treat her yet?" Levy asked.

           "Yeah, but she said that Juvia will still need rest to fully recover." I told them.

          "We can watch her if you want. You do need to sleep sometime." Lisanna walked over and put a hand on my shoulder. I shook her hand off my shoulder and shook my head.

          "No, I won't leave her." I said. They all looked at eachother.

          "Alright then. If you need someone, we'll be at the bar." Lucy said. They all left and it was again just Juvia and I.

          "At least he's gone now." I stroked Juvia's head. Her eyes slowly opened as she awoke.

         "Gray?" She spoke.

          "Good, you've finally woke up." I smiled.

          "What... happened?" She asked, getting herself in to a sitting position.

          "Joseph is dead." I told her.

          "Really?" She looked shocked.

          "Yeah, I guess the anger of him hurting you got to me." I said, not telling her the part where I flat out admitted my love for her.

          "Thank you, Gray." She sweetly smiled and softly hugged me.

          "We have a guest." Erza rushed in. I looked to Juvia as a 'are you okay to walk' look. She subtly nodded and started getting out of the bed.

          We followed Erza out of the infirmary to see who the said guest was.

Juvia P.O.V

          The wizards of Fairy Tails gathered around the one stranger. The stranger starting to push through the crowd when Gray and I arrived.

         My eyes widened and began to burn, tears coming in not long after when I saw who the person was. "Juvia." The woman called out. 

         "Mommy." The tears broke through and fell down my face as I ran down the remaining stairs and into my mother's arms. Now, I don't always call my mother 'mommy' but its been a long time and very stressful.

          "Juvia, are you okay?" She hugged me and stroked my head.

           "No." I stepped away from the hug. "How did you find me?"

          "When you were born, I had a spell cast on you that if you ever left the town or got kidnapped. I've been trying to find you for awhile now. Then I saw Joseph and I found you."

          "Wait, so you knew about magic but you kept me away from it all my life?" I asked.

          "Joseph didnt want magic in the house- Maybe we should take this somewhere private." Mom suggested.

          "No, this is my family. They will understand." I defended.

          "Fine, Joseph didnt want magic in the house or else he would have left me." She told me.

          "Well maybe you should have let him leave!!!" I shouted. She gave me a shocked look. I really have just gained some confidence. I would never yell at anyone, let alone my mom.

          "Juvia?" She gasped.

          "Look, I'm sorry for yelling at you," I said in a calmer, quieter tone. "But all I'm saying is, I was raped by him every time you left. You should have let he leave." But then again, if he had left and I hadn't, I wouldn't have met all these amazing people in Fairy Tail.

          "No, that can't be. He said the bruises were from punishment." She shook her head.

           "Do you honestly think I was the little monster he made me out to be. Would I lie about being raped?" I asked, tears picking at my eyes seeing how my mom wouldn't believe me.

          "Juvia... I'm so sorry. I... I didnt know." She began crying.

          "What are you crying for?" Gray asked, stepping beside me.

          "I was such a horrible mom." She sobbed. "Juvia please, I'm sorry."

          As much as I wanted to, I couldn't accept it. She didn't know the pain I went through. There was no way I could just say 'yeah sure, it's okay.' that easy.

          "Wait, who are you." Mom stopped crying, talking about Gray.

          "I'm-"

          "His name is Gray Fullbuster... He's... He's the one I love." Everyone's eyes widened.

          Mom crossed her arms, her kind persona changing into aggressive and mean. "He's not fit for you Juvia. I do not approve."

          "What do you mean!?! How would you know?" I glared.

          "One, I'm your mother, I know these things and two, he doesn't even have a shirt on." She protested.

          "The shirt, really?" Gray mumbled angrily.

          "How could you? You're supposed to support me and my decisions." I turned my back to her. My heart was broken. Here's the thing I didnt know. My mom suffered from multiple personality syndrome.

          "Juvia wait," she put her hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry. I do approve. Love is a beautiful thing and I'm glad you have found it."

           Gray went and took a seat with Natsu and the others. It was now just my mom and I. "You mean it?" She nodded back in response. I hugged her tightly.

          "Thank you." I mumbled into her shoulder.

          "Come visit me sometime, okay. I will miss you Juvia." She pulled away from the hug, giving me a motherly smile. "I love you Juvia."

          "I love you too Mom."

          "When did you get so grown up?" She lightly laughed. I shrugged and laughed a bit with her.

          After a little longer, Mom decided to leave. I gave her one last goodbye hug. "Send a letter!" She yelled. In the quick snap of her finger, she was gone.

          "So, Juvia..." Gray was behind me now.

Heyy. I haven't updated this story in almost a month. Oh my gosh. Im so sorry. Sorry this chapter was all over the place. I really didnt know how to word things right. 

Im sorry for the cliffhanger too. But hey, this is my only story im updating right now since I just recently finished my NaLu story. That meaning I should have this updated soon.
