The Supreme Intelligence Unit sat at the very heart of the mecha planet Android, pumping power into the towers and chargers to keep the planet alive. It was here that Roxy was taken, a bleeding wreck, mostly dead, as they say in the Princess Bride.
"IDENTIFY."
"Orly Model 000," the little mecha replied in a high, metallic voice. "Priority one."
"LAY HER ON THE PLATFORM."
"Obeyed." Orly set the girl down on a blue pad. She stepped back. The process would be messy.
A cage of sparks arose from the perimeter of the glowing blue pad. they began to twirl around the human, faster and faster and fasterandfaster until there was no body to be seen through the glowing bars.
"A NEW INNOVATION," the Supreme Intelligence Unit explained. "THE REGENERATION IS PRIVATE AND NOT AS MESSY. "
"An admirable trait." Orly replied.
The machine was nearly done with its job now; the bars began to disintegrate and fall apart, revealing a naked human except for a scarf. Slowly, clothes were screened onto the girl; a vest with one long sleeve, a poison-green skirt, and, of course, striped leggings. Last to load were thick nylon boods and the symbol of Planet Android.
Roxy's eyes opened, glowing electric green as data from the Supreme Intelligence Unit streamed into her body. She blinked, and the eyes she normally possessed returned.
"Hey," she said casually. "You're Orly, right?"
Orly confirmed.
"Well, Orly. I have some ass to kick. Coming?"
"Affirmative."
"Let's go! Oh, yeah... thank you, SIU!"
"THANKS ACCEPTED."
Roxy walked out, twirling a staff that had come seemingly from nowhere. Walking out of the control center, she walked through the hallways. Through the datastream, she'd absorbed the architecture of every building. The chamber where she'd been hpnotized was five flights up and to the left. She'd start there and work her way to her abductors.
There was no need for a search. The robotic rogues were standing just outside the door. Roxy grinned evilly. They still had their weapons equiped. This would be fun. Orly hovered beside her, head cocked to one side. Listening for instructions.
"Let's go," Roxy whispered. They stepped around the corner and approached the mechas.
"Warning: Player Immortalitas approach-" was all model number 666 could say before Roxy bashed its head in with her staff, the top of which had turned to iron. Dodging a cannonball, Roxy laughed and thrust her stick up the barrel of he cannon. She lifted the metal man up with it and slammed him from wall to wall.
Within a matter of minutes, Roxy had decimated the mechas so thoroughly that there was nothing left to crush or burn.
Roxy was laughing her head off the whole time.
"Warning: Ravenium levels rising. Warning!" Orly cried in her metallic voice. "Suggested therapy: deep breaths. Deep breaths."
Roxy ended up doing as her guide suggested. When she had calmed down, she said, "Will it get better?"
"The longer you are immortalitas, the better," Orly assured her. "Suggested Therapy: Contact friends."
"Yeah, you're right." Roxy replied. Taking a handheld out of her pocket, she opened pesterchum.
shipallQuadrants (SQ) began pestering cerebrumRock (CR) at 9:13 AM.
SQ: hey! hey benny!

CR: it's weird.
SQ: hmmmmm
CR: don't you DARE make this a ship
SQ: we shall see.... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHaHA
shipallQuadrants (SQ) quit pestering cerebrumRock (CR) at 9:30 AM.
Roxy logged out of Pesterchum, smiling. Then she pulled up her ship journal, adding a new ship.
New ship! Benny<3Nereida!
Roxy scrolled down all her old ships, grinning at her favorites. And then her own private, personal ships. She looked at them sadly. She hadn't seen any of them come close to sailing, but that was the thing about her crushes. She didn't really ever expect them to become anything more than a crush.
Roxy put the device away. There would be time for that later. Now, she had some Sybils to see.
