(Gussion POV)
Night falls on the city of Revellia. Dark colors paint the sky as Gussion plans his next raid on the city's vault, a highly guarded bank with millions and millions worth of treasure. He only needs to pass the security.
(Lesley POV)
Night falls on the city. Lesley heard the news that The Blade of the Shadows has sent threats to raid the city vault. But she knows he won't get away with a single coin.
Lesley has a skill she calls a "6th Sense". She can use it to detect any movement from vibrations sent to her mind. She uses this as a high-guard security camera to guard the city at night. And sitting on top of the clocktower can help it's coverage.
(Gussion POV)
Gussion rushes up the city walls, running swiftly as he arrives at the top. He hears footsteps, and realized a guard was coming through the door. He quickly attacked by simply throwing a dagger at the guard's direction, knocking him down.
Gussion looks down at the height of the walls. It doesn't scare him. Nothing ever does. He spreads his arms amd jumps off the wall, landing perfectly on the ground, then making a jump on top of the first roof he could reach.
(Lesley POV)
Her senses are tingling, she's detecting swift movement coming from near the gate. It's a sign that The Blade of the Shadows has gone past the walls and is making his way to the vault. She quickly jumps down from the window, running down it's walls. She lands on a roof, wasting no time, she sprints to the vault.
(3rd Person POV)
They both meet at the vault's doorway. Staring each other down, they both feel their blood heating up. Just screaming for the battle.
"Lesley, the Sniper of Revellia. I've heard of you." Gussion
"Ah, The Blade of the Shadows. There were rumors going around that you were going to raid the city today. But as a sworn guardian of this city, I won't let you set a foot in this vault." Lesley
They both slowly grasp their weapons, waiting for the engage.
Lesley knew that she was going to be hurt, but she knew that the town would be in danger if she lost. She knew that she had to warn the town. Quickly firing a sparkling bullet into the air, the town recognizes the colors of that spark. It was a sign they shouls evacuate.
Gussion thought it was a sign she was going to fire. He throws a blade at her and dashes to her side.
Gussion's speed overwhelmes Lesley causing her body to collapse.
Lesley knew that she had already lost. But it was all fine for her. The village was already moving.
Gussion holds Lesley down. She closes her eyes and accepts her fate.
Just before a knife lands on Lesley's chest, Gussion sees her face up close. He's mesmerized by her beauty, a face like no other. He would feel guilty to kill a woman like her.
Lesley opens her eyes to see Gussion staring at her. She's confused as to why he hasn't killed her yet.
"Come on. Finish it." Lesley
Gussion doesnt say a word. He keeps his mouth shut.
"Why haven't you killed me? I'm the only obstacle you need to pass to get to the vault." Lesley
"Quiet now. You don't know my real intention." Gussion
"Oh, please. It's obvious." Lesley
Gussion originaly planned to raid the vault, but at the same time he wouldn't want to murder a woman like her.
After some quick thinking, he decides to spare her.
"I guess you got me for now. I'm not going to raid the vault. But, prepare yourself." Gussion
Gussion quickly lets go of Lesley and dashes through the town. He didn't plan to kill her. He doesn't want to.
(Lesley POV)
She gets up and stares at the trail of darkness the Blade of the Shadows leaves behind. She was still confused as to why the assassin didn't kill her.
"Pathetic." Lesley said in a tired voice. Even though she seemed to be cocky about the "win" she's still confused.
Harley rushes over to the vault door and sees his sister staring into the sky.
"I-I'm here!" Harley says as he takesa moment to catch his breath."
"It took you long enough little bro." Lesley
"What did you need help with!? Did you get hurt!? Are you okay??" Harley
"Harley. We'e talked about this many times before. I don't need your help anymore whenever I send a sparkling bullet. But anyways, The Blade of the Shadows arrived to raid the vault today." Lesley
"Did you manage to stop him?" Harley
She thinks whether she should tell the truth or not. She decides to lie and tell Harley that she took him down. She didn't want to disappoint or worry her brother by saying that the Blade of Shadows is still alive.
"Yes." Lesley
"Haha! That's my sister!" Harley
"Hm. Now go shut up and get the town back in here. Tell them the raid's a fail." Lesley
