The Sly Bunny And The Dumb Fox

Part 1

Judy's eyes opened suddenly. As she began getting her bearings her alarm clock began beeping annoyingly. "Beat you again," Judy mumbled.
She had a knack for awakening seconds before her alarm clock did it for her. "5:30" is what the clock read. It was time for another day, another chance to make the world a better place. She hopped out of bed and got into her uniform in a flash. She grabbed her keys and phone before dashing out the door. She looked at her phone before opening up her contacts and dialing one number under "Nick". No answer.

As usual, he's still snoring his head off. At least I've got time.

Judy marched out and down the street towards a known taxi location. She would give directions to Nick's apartment which she received from him the other day. She had a little 'surprise' in store for him....

Nick pay lopsided off of his bed, tongue lolling out. His mind was currently focused on a particular dream where Judy and himself were chasing down this panda in a sports car. No matter how many corners they cut, the duo couldn't catch him. Surprisingly, Nick seemed ok with this. He really enjoyed being in a pursuit with his partner.

The door to his bedroom creaked open and 2 grey ears peeped out around it, like some sort of sonic periscope. Then 2 amethyst eyes and 1 pink nose followed. Soon the bunny was at arm's length from the sleeping fox, ready to give him the best prank of the week. She lined up her hands on the sides of the duvet and prepared to commence her assault on Nick's peaceful dream. Suddenly, while still sleeping, Nick mumbled "Judy...Judy..".
The bunny next to the bed blushed immediately after understanding what just happened. She composed herself before yanking the duvet covers off of Nick while yelling "SUPRISE!"

Nick woke suddenly and sat up while Judy just looked down at the fox laying in front of her, in nothing but his boxers. Judy's blushing returned as Nick began to sputter
"C-Carrots?! W-Why?!"

Judy leaned out and put one of her hands on her hips before whispering,
"It's called a hustle, sweetheart."

Nick replied rather grumpily before chuckling
"No, it's called a house invasion."

Only then did Judy realise Nick's rather muscular and toned abdomen.
The blushing returned once again to her as she realized she was staring and suddenly felt guilty about her little 'morning wake-up call'.
Instead of apologizing however, she just told Nick to get dressed and be at the door to the apartment in 20 minutes. Nick rolled out of bed before reflecting on the situation which just transpired.

Did her cheeks look more red than usual?

31 minutes later, Nick arrived at the entrance to his apartment where Judy was standing.

She looks really pretty in the police uniform...

"Stop it!" Nick told himself

"So, do you want to take a taxi to the precinct?", Nick asked Judy.

"How far away is it from your apartment?" Judy replied.

" I dunno, 10 miles, give or take."

"Really? Ok then, taxi it is!"

After the two reached the precinct and Nick paid for the overpriced taxi drive, they we greeted with the always energetic and bubbly Clawhauser.

"Hey Guys!!" Clawhauser squealed as he munched on some fruit loops.

"Hey Clawhauser," both Judy and Nick said at the same time. Judy looked away while Nick suddenly found the ground much more interesting.

Clawhauser let out a small "Awww..." Before returning to his breakfast.
