Judy woke up in what felt to be the softest blanket known to mammals. It felt soft, silky and natural. As she opened her eyes to identify the mysterious blanket she was blinded by a rich orange colour. This confused her until she immediately realized what the comfy material was and who it belonged to. She let out a squeal, which caused the sleeping fox hugging the bunny to begin to wake up.

"Mmm.... Carrots...." Was what Nick mumbled before slowly opening his eyes. Judy panicked and jumped out of bed. She landed with a thud onto the wooden floor boards.

"Carrots?! Are you ok?!"

"Uh-ye-yeah!"

Nick realized where he was as Judy dashed down her hall to the bathroom to get ready, blushing furiously. Nick decided to just get ready in Judy's apartment and began to put on his uniform. In 8 minutes Nick finished getting dressed and left the apartment to find Judy also ready.

"Oh hi, Nick."

"Hey, Carrots. Did you sleep well?"

"Um... Yeah, yeah I did..."

Nick found himself staring into Judy's eyes for what seemed like hours. He suddenly became aware of his situation and became very flustered. This confused Nick; he never lost control of his emotions. He always followed his saying "never let them see that they get to you" to a T. He was once again snapped back into reality when Judy looked at her phone and said

"sweet cheese and crackers we're going to be late!"

Returning to his facade, Nick then asked if Judy wanted to grab some breakfast at a cafe on the way to work. Judy agreed.

Judy and Nick rushed into the ZPD fifteen minutes late with empty to go coffee cups and paper bags filled with crumbs. They waved at Clawhauser and he bubbly waved back but then noticed how they went into the precinct together while being late. Sure sometimes they got breakfast together and came in together but Judy was never late and would go on without Nick if he was running late. This made Clawhauser's mind run wild (no pun intended) with possibilities as to what happened last night and this morning.

Nick and Judy attempted to sneak into the bullpen and into their shared seat due to their shorted size compared to the other officers and detectives. This plan failed however as Chief Bogo immediately stopped assigning cases when he noticed the two very shortly after they got through the door.

"Ahh Officers Hopps and Wilde, how nice of you to join us", he bellowed.

"I'm sorry sir, I overslept and didn't hear my alarm..." Judy sorrowfully replied.

"This is your first late offense so I'll let you slide. However if you're late again, I'll put you on parking duty for a month. What's your story, Wilde?"

Judy suddenly panicked and realized that if the precinct found out about Nick and her little 'sleepover', she'd never hear the end of it. She looked over to Nick with a worried expression. He remained calm and replied with a cool "My bus had the wrong number printed on it. I had to get off when I realized that it wasn't going to arrive near the precinct. I had to walk the rest of the way which, I might add, is around 9.5 miles away once I left the bus." Chief Bogo grunted and let him get away with a warning similar to Judy's except he threatened 2 months of parking duty. He then continued with his morning announcements and case assignments. Nick and Judy's was to continue to work on the case of 'The Incisors'.

Once they reached their office, they flopped into their chairs and began to analyse footage and test theories. Judy decided to act as if nothing had happened between herself and Nick and pretend that last night never happened. She continued to study her computer screen until Nick spoke up.
