Worry

(Renney's POV)

"Can't this wait till morning?" I ask. I rub my eyes and act tired to cover up the slight blush on my face. His request is pretty god damn forward. He shakes his head, bells jingle. He comes closer and sits right next to me. I scoot over and he lays next to me.

"Wanna play eye-spy?" I ask with a growing smile. Since Pennywise hasn't hurt me, I'll trust him for now. He seems cool anyway. And I've never had a fear of clowns. SNORT. You think I'm Richie?

"Eye spy with my little eye something dark." He said.

"Everything." I snicker. I hear my grandmother snoring loudly down the hall.

"How am I the queen of Derry?" I ask finally.

"You just are. I can feel it." He leans into me, his breathe on my neck. I freeze. I'm not cool with physical contact with people I'm not fully comfortable with. Like my best friends are chill and my grandma but anyone else makes me nervous. Reminds me of what my mom and dad did to me before...

"Don't like it?" Pennywise whimpers like a dog. I shake my head. I can relax. Pennywise is my friend now, I should be fine. Stop being so fuckin scared.

"I'm just not ok with physical touch from certain people. Nothing against you tho, Penny." I pat his cheek with my hand. I feel awkward.

"Goodnight Renney." He says and I'm back asleep in a snap.

{Morning}

I yawn as I stretch upward. I climb out of bed, Pennywise is gone. I frown. Pennywise is certainly different. He seems very mature, for a clown. I snort. I do my morning routine and check the clock. Around 11 AM. I usually wake up late. I get dressed and head for Stutter Fest's house. Haha

"YOOOOO WHERE MY BOOIII!!!" I yell at the door since it didn't open.

"Renney!" I turn to see Beverly. I smile at her.

"Hey my girl, is Bill still sleeping or what?" I laugh. She shrugs and smiles. Who opens the door is Bill' dad. He looks at us both. We probably look suspicious.

"And who are you both?" He asks. Mean.

"I'm Beverly and this is Renney. We are friends with Bill." Beverly said. I nod. Bill's dad looked between us again then let us in. Bill was eating lunch at the dining table. We wave at him and sit with him. Then before Bill's dad leaves through the door the rest of our pals pour in past him. We snicker and I catch sight of a red balloon in the corner of the room. I look at Pennywise as everyone starts taking stuff from Bill's pantry to eat.

"I GOTTA PISS." I announce and leave up the stairs.

"YOU'RE FUCKING WEIRD." Richie yelled after me. Good thing Bill's parents were both at work. I made my way to the top of the stairs and leaned against the wall.

"Hi." I say when I see Pennywise appear at the end of the hallway opposite of me.

"Hello." Pennywise smirks.

"You have been appearing more lately. Anything goin on?" I smile. He nods excitedly.

"You're what's going on, my dear." He laughs in his crazy way. I giggle.

"Cute." I chuckle. He stares at me for a moment. Then disappears. I sigh. He seems awkward lately. I make my way back downstairs. I see everyone eating. I sit beside Stanley and Eds. Beverly throws me a chocolate bar. I catch midair.

"That's who you were saving it for?! Should've given it to me!" Richie complained at Beverly. Beverly rolls her eyes. I snicker and so does Stanley. Eds eats his bowl of cereal. Ben is chatting it up with us about how he's seen this clown-wait what?

"It like...it was chasing me in the library after I read on a Easter egg disaster that killed a lot of people and left many injured...first it appeared like a smoking beheaded boy. Then it was a clown with red hair and this old grey clown outside with red lips and the ends twisted up..." We were all somber now.

"I've seen it too. When you guys saved me from Bowers and when I was doing my delivery routes." Mike says. Is Pennywise scaring my friends.

"I've seen it too but it appeared as the ugly painting lady from my dad's office." Stanley spoke up next to me. I felt the tiredness weigh on me now.

"I-I-I saw G-G-Geo-Georgie..." Bill frowned down at the table.

"You guys know what I saw. You saw my bathroom." They had, I had kept watch. But they said blood was all over the place, covering every surface in the bathroom. Even Richie saw the blood. They all did. But Beverly's dad had not.

"I saw a lepper. He was like a walking infection." Eds mumbled with clear fear on his face. We are all silent for a while.

"What about you Renney?" Mike asks. I glance around and spot Pennywise. Since I have my hood on, they can't see where I'm looking as I stare at Pennywise. He shrugs. He doesn't care what I say right now.

"The balloon popping...that's all that's happened to me." I say. It's half true so then I don't feel TOO bad.

"I haven't seen crap." Richie says, crossing his arms.

"Wha-wha-what-whatever. S-so wh-what do yo-u-u guys w-want-want to do t-t-to-today?" Bill asks.

"Hmmm...jump at the cliff? What's it called?" I asked with a smirk at them all.

"TO THE QUARRY." We all yelled.

"Meet you all there!" We all left to our homes to change. After about 30 mins we were standing at the ledge over the water. Out bikes/skateboard behind us in a pile like usual. Beverly jumped first, a bra on and matching underwear. Was I the only one in an actual bikini? Yes. Yes I am. They all jump and me Mike are last. This is our first time jumping.

"COME ON YOU WHIMPS." Richie yelled.

"I hate him." Mike sighed. I grabbed his hand. He looked at me, his cheeks going pink.

"Ready?" I ask. And across the cavern was Pennywise, staring at me. He seemed to be frowning, just standing there.

"Mike-" I try to point out but he ignores me.

"JUMP." Mike yelled and we ran off and jumped. I twisted my body into doing a flip. I went in at a swan dive. The water felt amazing at my sun beaten skin. I surfaced and was splashed by Richie. On the shore nearby to the side was Pennywise, watching and waiting with a frown. His eyes looked a sad red. I splashed Richie and it became a splash war.

Is Pennywise alright?
