Olivia's P.O.V

The day before Valentines Day
I wake up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window. I get up and put on my burger slippers and go downstairs to meet my roommate who is cooking breakfast.

"She finally awakens", Charlotte laughed. "Hey Lott", I said in my morning voice which wasn't very attractive. "Hey, I'm making pancakes so they'll be done in about 10". I gave her a thumbs up and walked over to the couch where I turned on the tv. Just suddenly the thought of Valentines Day came to mind and a smile immediately appears on my face. "What are you so happy about?", Charlotte asked. "It's Valentine's Day tomorrow! I haven't seen Justin in about 2 weeks and he said he's preparing something really special for Valentine's Day!", I said as my smile grew about twice the size.

I started to make my way to the dining room table because I saw that Charlotte was starting to serve the pancakes, but as I was walking over, a saw a genuine frown on her face. "Hey Lott, you alright?", I asked concerned. She simply just nodded. "You know you can tell me anything". She nodded again. "Charlotte, I can see you're not okay, can you please tell me what's going on? Is it because I mentioned Valentines Day and you don't have anyone to spend it with?", I laughed nervously to try and lift the mood. Still nothing. "Is it because I mentioned Just--" "DON'T SAY HIS NAME.....please" she yelled.

I jumped at her actions confused as ever. I've never seen her act this way and just because I mentioned my boyfriends name. "Why?" I asked. "Just don't" she said still angry. "No I want to know what's going on. If it involves my boyfriend I have the right to know, so tell me Charlotte, why don't you like me mentioning his name?!" "You won't understand.." She said not taking her eyes off her food. I noticed her eyes getting glossy, as if on the verge of crying. "Then explain to me, maybe I will" "You won't!" Her voice breaking as tears rolled down her red cheeks. "Look Charlotte this isn't even funny, I'm going to give you one more chance to explain to me what's going on. WHY DON'T YOU LIKE ME MENTIONING JUS--" HE'S CHEATING ON YOU!!!"

A/N: Hey! Hoped you liked this first chapter of my very first book. I'm a new author to WattPad and I'm liking it so far.
