RULING THE WILD WAVES

You were infatuated with me since you're young,
But I'm not interested with any girl at that time.
You're too spoiled and my brother's smitten by you,
So I made myself unaffected and correct anything wrong you do.

I remember the moment you confessed your feelings about me,
Yet I said you're only fourteen and I'm way older honestly.
Someday you'll find someone else that could have been,
But you said you'll grow up soon and will be ready at eighteen.

You have a bad taste for girls, was what you've told me before you leave.
You don't even spent your vacation in our house anymore because of me, I believe.
But then I got curious when your mother start telling story about what you do,
And how attracted mens are when it comes to you.

I came with my family to visit your house,
Just to find out a hickey on your neck that isn't covered by your blouse.
I tried to make you so angry so that we still have time to talk,
Yet you just smiled and told me it's a normal phase that I too, had been through.

I came back to your life because I'm worried,
Not knowing I'd fall hard the way you did.
Your father even talked to me about being engaged with Pastrana,
Because he knows what you felt and who you want to marry.

An incident happened and I am now engage with you,
But why the hell I feel like you're drifting apart too.
We got married but you go out of the country few days later,
But I can't do anything because you're too cold to me and still in grieve with your deceased father.

I let you go, I let you move freely,
While I'm doing my job and while keeping your safety.
Even if I misses you so much, I let you go your way.
But my insecurities eat me up sometimes and make me sway.

But I love you, and our relationship must be fixed once you come back home,
So I'll do everything to make sure we'll be together soon.
But then again you suprised me when you want divorce,
But I can't let you go even if you lied being pregnant with other man ofcourse.

I became a good husband and I know finally were being the couple I want us to be,
But with just business meeting abroad you left me.
I even went to Iloilo just to be a gardener,
For as long as I can see you everyday, I'll be okay.

After a day you already noticed me that fast,
Even convinced me to go back to Manila but I let it passed.
Because, honestly I'm happier when I'm with you,
Because you're my home, my family and I love you.

When we go back to support our Mom for the press conference,
That's when I realized I'll be a daddy soon because your now pregnant.
That's when I made sure that we'll no longer fight,
Because, I'll do everything just to make everything alright.

You said you can never tame me because I'm like a wild wave.
Yet I know you can, because you're the moon who controls me babe.
You are my baby that I let go to be free and happy,
But still came back and love me dearly no matter how flawed I can be.
