Chapter 2

After Matsuri's shower she grabbed her clothes putting them on then put her hoodie on. Matsuri then grabbed her new pair of headphones putting them around her neck and grabbed her mask as well just in case she ends up in a fight then went out of her room to check up on her gang. She suddenly bumped into Ari who just finished showering since she had her hair wet.
"Ah Matsuri hehe sorry for bumping into you" Ari said
"Nah it's fine" Matsuri said
"So...are you heading out alone tonight?" Ari asked
"Yeah..." Matsuri said. Matsuri usually drinks twice a week whenever she wants. She sometimes gets into fights and always wins them even though she is drunk. Ari hugged Matsuri from behind
"Are you still thinking about her?" Ari asked. Matsuri's eyes widen and clenched her fists tightly letting out a low growl
"Why are you asking that?" Matsuri asked
"Just wondering..." Ari said
"It's none of your business..." Matsuri said and pulled out of the hug then walked downstairs
"So you haven't been able to move on?" Ari asked. Matsuri growled and looked up at Ari glaring at her scaring her a bit
"S-sorry for asking..." Ari mumbled. Matsuri sighed and walked out of the mansion. She looked up at the sky as it was getting darker.
"Hey leader aren't you going to eat with us?" A boy asked
"Nah...I'll pass..." Matsuri said
"Are you feeling okay? I mean you haven't been acting like yourself you know...I mean I know it's none of my business but we're just worried..." The boy said
"Forget it...just make sure everyone is well rested after dinner...understand?" Matsuri said
"Yes I understand" The boy said
"Good..." Matsuri said
"You're heading out but it's a bit early since we usually leave during midnight..." He said
"Yeah...I know...I'm just going for a drink..." Matsuri said
"Okay leader" The boy said and walked back to the mansion. Matsuri walked to her motorcycle and got on then drove away from the mansion. Matsuri sometimes goes out with her gang but she enjoyed to go out alone. Matsuri then arrived at the streets and saw it was a bit empty. She went to the bar where she usually drinks but something caught her which made her stop and look at an alley. She saw a girl being beaten up by other girls and guys. Matsuri's eyes widen when a guy started to grab her clothes tearing it off. Matsuri growled and put on her creepy mask that covered her mouth then put her hoodie and pulled out her knife. She then walked up to the alley holding onto the knife while looking down
"What the hell?"
"Hey bitch...leave us alone. Can't you see we're busy..."
Matsuri was silent and she looked up at the gang. They had bats and metal pipes. The girl walked up to her and glared at her since she was taller than her
"Get out" She said. Matsuri growled and cut her neck making it bleed
"Leave her alone" Matsuri said
"You asked for this!" The guy said as he raised his weapon which was a bat and swinger it at her but Matsuri grabbed his bat and with her knife she stabbed his shoulder then kicked his side hard. She held the bat and held her bloody knife then looked up at the rest of the gang
"Anyone else wants to fight...?" Matsuri asked. The gang dropped their weapons and left leaving the bleeding girl and guy on the floor. Matsuri looked at the victim and walked up to her
"Pl-please...don't h-hurt me..." The girl said whimpering
"I'm not going to hurt you...now leave before anyone sees this..." Matsuri said. The girl nodded and ran away. Matsuri looked at her two bleeding victims and walked up to them still holding her knife
"Pl-please mercy...m-mercy..." The girl whimpered. Matsuri growled and punched the girl then kicked her. The guy grabbed Matsuri's leg wanting to tell her to stop
"Pl-please...leave her...al-alone..." The guy mumbled
"Why should I? You two didn't leave her alone did you?" Matsuri said and stepped on his head and pushed his head to the ground and stepped harder breaking his nose as a small puddle of blood appeared. Matsuri then kicked his head and walked away
"If I see you two again...I won't go so easy on you..." Matsuri said as she turned to look at them with her deadly blue eyes. The victims trembled and whimpered. Matsuri then went back to her motorcycle and took her mask off and drove to the bar. She arrived and got off of her motorcycle then walked to the bar. She walked up with her dull eyes and sat down.
"Woah...M-matsuri?" The man asked. Matsuri's eyes widen and she slowly looked up seeing her old friend
"A-asher?" Matsuri asked
"Hey it's been so long. Did you come back from the U.S?" He asked
"O-oh um...hehe yeah" Matsuri lied
"How was it?" He asked
"It was great I guess..." Matsuri said
"Hey um...I understand you might not want to talk ahout this but...um...what about the boobs uh I mean Harumin? I've heard you broke up with her because you were just using her...is that true?" He asked
"Give me something to drink...then I'll talk" Matsuri said. Asher nodded and he served Matsuri her usual drink. Matsuri drinked and placed her drink down and sighed
"Can you keep a secret?" Matsuri asked
"Of course. We're friends" He said
"...the truth is...I never left Japan...it's all because of that old hag...Harumin's grandmother doesn't want me to be with her because...I'm the reason she's been in the hospital and hurt...she said it's best for her to be with someone else...better than me...so she gave my father a job in the U.S so he could take me away and be far away from Harumin..." Matsuri said
"That fuckin old hag! Matsuri did you seriously listen to her?!" Asher exclaimed
"Whatever..." Matsuri said and picked up her drink
"Matsuri...you should talk to Harumin..." Asher said
"Nah...I bet she won't remember me at all...I mean she's been doing great without me...she created her own company and became a great successor...she did all that...without me in her life...I'm just a loser...I'm nothing...I'm just a waste of time for her..." Matsuri said looking down as she was tearing up and clenched her fists tightly. Asher looked at his friend and patted her head gently
"Hey...don't worry I'm here for you..." Asher said
"Yeah...so what about the others?" Matsuri asked
"Ah the others well Lina became a doctor, Sakira became a teacher, Furto became a police officer, and well I got a new job and became a bartender hehe" Asher said. Matsuri chuckled and felt glad for her friends
"What about you Matsuri? Have you gotten a job or something?" He asked
"Nah...I've been...stealing and killing..." Matsuri mumbled the last part while looking down
"Why? I thought you stopped doing that..." He said
"I'm a Midnight Assassin..." Matsuri said
"A what?" He asked
"Basically people who want revenge and that suffered their whole life...they wanted me to become their leader so...I accepted it. They are like..family" Matsuri said
"Oh...well hey wanna hang with the rest of the gang?" He asked
"I-I don't know...I mean...what do they think of me?" Matsuri asked
"They miss you...we all do. They'll be really excited once they see you again" Asher said ruffling her black hair like she was a kid. Matsuri smiled weakly and drinked.
My friends...missed me...I wonder if...Harumin would feel the same way if she remembered...

Harumin was doing her make up and felt her heart beat fast. She felt excited and nervous about her first date. After Harumin got herself ready she heard her grandmother call her
"Harumi your future husband is here!" Her grandmother said. Harumin blushed deeply and grabbed her purse and walked out of her roon
"Grandmother he's not my boyfriend..." Harumin said
"Hehe not yet though" Her grandmother said giggling
"Oh stop teasing her mother" Soha said
"My little girl is growing up" Hojo said as he hugged Harumin
"Dad I'm not a little girl anymore" Harumin said blushing in embarrassment
"Yes can't you see your daughter is a beautiful and young lady" Her grandmother said
"Alright well I have to go now" Harumin said and waved goodbye at her family. Mitsuko looked at her little sister but sighed. She had a feeling she saw Harumin's date before.
That guy...seems so familiar to me...
Sangchul blushed as he was waiting for Harumin
"Wow Harumin you look like a beautiful goddess!" He said and blushed
"Th-thank you" Harumin blushed deeply. Sangchul then opened the door being a gentleman and let Harumin inside his car. He then got inside the driver's seat and started the car then started driving to their date.
