Forgotten Heart // Fairy Tail

-Part 6-

Exhausted.

That was what she felt as she slowly opened her eyes, only to shut them quickly from the bright light. Opening them more cautiously she had to blink a few times to get use to the light, even if it wasn't quite so bright then she originally thought.

Something felt off as she slowly lifted her right hand and examined it. The fingertips were engulfed in a thin layer of ice and she couldn't exactly feel anything as she touched it with her other hand.

Before she can panic, a warm hand clasped around both her hands, taking her attention away from it. Dark blue eyes shifted to lighter blue ones as Senara stared into a smiling Stings face, "you had me worried there."

Confused, Senara took a moment to get her surroundings and realized she was in her bedroom in her cabin. When she attempted to move she found that it was painful and decided it would be best not to. Recalling the events before she passed out she suddenly asked, "where's Chiharu?"

Sighing, Sting sat at the edge of her bed, "back at the guild with Yukino. Lilia went to get Porlylusica to check on you, they should be here soon," gently, he tucked a strand of hair behind her ears as he smiled warmly at her. Leaning down, he contemplated about his next actions, but settled for gently pressing his forehead against hers, "you feeling okay?"

Blushing by the gesture, pink stood out against her pale cheeks, "j-just tired," she mumbled in reply, her blue eyes going to his lips momentarily. However she caught herself and directed it back to Stings eyes.

"Senara," Sting muttered, shutting his eyes as he took in her scent, "I missed you, you've been so distant lately and it makes me jealous of Fairy Tail because you're always there."

Surprised by his words, Senara gulped as her face heated up, trying to figure out what to say. Hesitantly, she brought her fingers to gently comb through Stings blond hair, "I'm sorry, I'll try to visit more. Is Rogue with you?"

In perfect timing, Rogue appeared in the doorway with Porlyusica behind him. However, he did not greet Senara but gave Sting a stern looking confusing Senara greatly.

Sighing, Sting gave Senara an apologetic smile before standing up and following Rogue out the room, allowing Porlyusica and Wendy to examine Senara.

"It's been almost four months and we still don't have any clue on what the cure can be," Rogue spoke, not a hint of friendliness in his voice as he addressed Sting. He was still agitated by the events of today and after seeing that Senara was beginning to freeze again made him worry.

Sighing, Sting leaned his backs against the wall, "what are we suppose to do? No one in Sabertooth or Fairy Tail has the slightest clue why Ice Dragons even have the curse." Sliding down the wall, Sting clutched his head is frustration, not knowing what to do, "and we have another curse to worry about."

Noticing his partners tiredness and the dark circle around his eyes, Rogue softened his stern demeanor and sat next to Sting in the floor. The two staying silent momentarily as they wondered about their next actions. Rogue was the one to speak, "let's focus on the Ice Dragons curse before we focus on Haven, we only have 8 months to find the cure."

Groaning, Sting rested his head on the wall, staring up at the sodden sealing, "things weren't suppose to end up like this."

"What do you mean?"

"After the Grand Magic Games, all three of us were suppose to take a break from our guild, get away and just be mates, to fix the things he broke. We were suppose to mark each other, maybe find a house between Sabertooth and Fairy Tail, go on missions together, eat meals together, sleep together and yet, we're stuck in this situation with the Ice Dragons curse and curse surrounding Senara."
