GRAYSON'S POV THIS IS A STORY FROM GRAYSON'S PAST
Groaning, I got up out of bed with not much sleep. I never really did. I was always out whether it was night or day. I picked up my phone and he time read 4:35 am. I also had a text from Donovan, one of my rivals. He was a dangerous guy but then again, so was I. I was never scared and that's what made most others afraid. I quickly slipped on some black skinny jeans, a black tight fitted shirt, my black leather jacket and black combat boots.
I brushed my teeth and everything before walking down stairs to find Ethan sat on the couch in complete darkness. I looked at him for a minute as the moon shone on him through the window, being the only source of light.
I walked to the door before he called my name but it was too late. "Where are you going now?" he sighed in sadness and frustration get his body language remained calm as he stood up, walking closer. "That's my business" I said bluntly with a low tone.
"Gray I'm worried about you. We all are. You're always out doing god knows what and we all know they aren't good things. Grayson I'm you're twin brother and you don't even talk to me anymore. What happened?" he asked, tears pooling in his eyes, the moon making it easy to see them.
"Ethan go back to sleep" I said sternly, turning around. "What you think I can sleep knowing that my brother is doing some bad shit. Bad shit that could get him hurt or even killed!?" He began to raise his voice making me turn back in anger.
"It's none of your god damn business Ethan now go to sleep!" I yelled, my anger burning through my veins. He looked scared and took a step back as I noticed I was a lot closer to him. He gulped and bowed his head.
"Look, I'm just trying to help you. I just want my brother back" his voice cracked as the tears were threatening to escape. "This is who I am Ethan. I'm going out. I'll be home soon" I lied. That was a pretty common thing for me to do.
"Yeah right" I heard him mumble before walking back upstairs, a tear rolling don his cheek and his head still down. I sighed, annoyed and walked out of the front door, jogging down the steps of our porch.
I got my phone out of my pocket and began to call one of my guys. "Jace meet me at the park asap and bring the boys" I ordered, hanging up before he could speak. I made my way to the park which wasn't far and sat on the swings waiting for some of my gang to arrive.
After a few minutes, Jace, Logan, Aaron, Kaine, Will and Zak came and walked up to me. "What's up Gray?" they asked. I stood up and gave them all bro hugged before speaking. "Donovan is waiting at The Zone. He wants money and as you know, we ain't givin' shit" I answered and all the boys cheered getting hype for the fight that was about to happen.
We all walked into the woods and to our meeting place AKA The Zone. We would meet other gangs, 'customers' and rivals here. It used to be a warehouse/factory but it has been abandoned for years. We all walked through the huge hole in the front wall and there stood Donovan, his arms crossed as he sat on an old table that was surrounded by his guys.
They were all full grown men whereas we were just kids. I was the youngest being 15 but I was the leader since I was the strongest, best fighter and the best at tactics and running things and the oldest was Will who was 18.
Donovan stood up off the table. "Did you bring the money?" He asked whilst directly looking at me. "We didn't bring shit. I don't see why we should give you money when we don't owe you anything, not that I would give you anything if we did" I scoffed.
He came closer and two guys came will him, one by each side. "Well then, you're very brave for coming" he said as he was now stood right in front of me. I gave a sarcastic smile and looked behind him carefully examining his men. We were out numbered by a few and this would be a pretty good fight.
You may be thinking we were about to get our asses beat. A couple of teenagers against grown men but you're wrong. This wouldn't be the first time we did something like this. I have extreme anger issues and I could explode at the smallest of things. When I get angry, I get 50x stronger and yeah people do get stronger when they get angry but not like me.
"What are you gonna do?" I teased, smirking evilly, steping up to him so I was in his face, threatening him. His men came closer and one cracked his knuckles. Me and my boys got ready into stance and so did Donovan's.
"Oh you're about to see" he smirked back and swung at me, causing everyone to start immediately fight. I ducked and punched him in the stomach before he punched mine. We stepped back a little and put our guards back up.
He tried to punch me in the face but I blocked it and swung at him, busting his lip. He yet again smirked easily before charging at me and punched my nose making me fall down. My nose was bleeding everywhere and my eyes sight blurred slightly.
I blinked and got up before wiping my nose of some blood. I wasn't even angry anymore. It was rage. It was my turn to charge at him, punching him in the face then ribs and I didn't stop. He fell down and I got on top of him, continuing to throw punches on his bloody face. He pushed me off and we got up again.
We continued to fight and I finally knocked him out by getting him back down and smashed his head on the floor. I then looked around to see my boys struggling to fight against the huge men. I ran up to Aaron who was on the floor getting the shit kicked out of him. I grabbed the guy and punched him several times before he fell down and hit his head off the floor.
I helped him up and we helped the others. The fight seemed to last forever but could only have been several minutes. That's what happens in these situations. I looked to my left to see a guy punching Jace, who was my best friend, and he was going to pass out.
I sprinted to him and threw him to the floor before I got on top of him and began to strangle him. His face began to turn purple as he desperately tried to breathe and hit my arms. Finally he closed his eyes and I let go. He wasn't dead though. He was just unconscious.
The fight finally finished and we were all panting and bleeding. "Come on guys. Lets go" I said and we began to walk out, well limp I guess. We got to the park again and all sat on the swings and bench. Zak took out a lighter and a cigarette and lit it after placing it between his lips.
He inhaled before breathing the smoke out of his nose. He passed it around and I took it, knowing it would help with the stress and help me calm down. I had been smoking since I was 14, when all of this started and I had changed.
I used to be such a sweet kid. I was inseparable from my twin and I would always look after my family. I would go to my Grandma's to check in and make sure she was alright and go to the store for her but that wasn't me anymore. As much as I secretly missed it, I couldn't go back. That's how it works. This life wasn't easy to get out of.
A/N- THIS WILL MAKE MORE SENSE IN THE NEXT CHAPTER SO JUST WAIT. THERE IS GOING TO BE SOME STUFF GOING DOWN OBVIOUSLY.
