Saying Goodbye to the past and hello to the future

[Months later]

It's been awhile and I'm still sick. And of course Chris was still taking care of me. I really liked him taking care of me it made me feel real happy.
It was my last year in high school and I was getting my life together and getting ready for college. My plan was after high school I'll go to college and after college me and Chris would settle down and begin our journey as adults.

*coughs*

"Miya, are you sure you'll be okay, while I'm at work?" Chris said beginning to sit down next to me.

"Chris I can take care of myself okay, i got this." I said letting out more coughs.

"Yea, you say that but I'm gonna be working late tonight and I don't likely sitting here at the house all by yourself." He said rubbing my thigh gently.

Then I heard two familiar voices. They were walking in. It was Ronnie and Donnie.

"Really, Chris you got these two goofballs, I don't need a baby sitter I'll be fine." I said letting out more coughs.

"See you coughing too much that's a sign that you need a babysitter so in ft your best friends to come help out." He said raising off the bed. I didn't wanna talk cause I felt if I let out one word I would just choke on my spit. So I just turned the other way and rolled my eyes.

"Okay, I left notes on her medicine bottles and food she has to eat don't let her eat whatever she wants. Also she'll make bathroom trips every now and then so be on the look out. And please make sure she actually makes it to the bathroom because last night was not pretty. Also-." I cut him off.

"I'm pretty sure they get it now Chris you can go before you be late." I said picking up another tissue.
He came over and kissed my forehead and walked out the door. Both Ronnie and Donnie began to sit on the bed.

"Lets clean this room a bit cause jus looking at it makes me wanna puke." Ronnie says as examining the room looking at the trash that's everywhere.

She began to raise up and began picking up the dirty tissues I threw on the floor earlier because I was too lazy to get up and put them in the trash can. I began to feel like coming up so I rose up and hurried into the bathroom and sat over the toilet. Donnie came running in after me.

"What's up with all this throwing up miya?" She said moving my hair out of my face.

"I don't know just a little sick I guess." I said looking staring at my own like.

"Have you tried a pregnancy test?" She said looking at me serious. I let out a little laugh like she was joking even tho I knew she wasn't.
I didn't even want to think about being pregnant at this time because I had a whole future planned for myself. Besides I'm also coughing and I don't think you cough when your pregnant. I just continued looking into the toilet. I finally finished and wiped my mouth.

Few hours passed and Ronnie and Donnie went back home. Chris had finally came back from work. He walked in and went into the shower. He came out and had basketball shorts with no shirt on. Gosh was he sexy without a shirt. He came by and laid down by me and turned on his side to where we were both just looking at each other.

"How was work?"I asked softly placing and arm under my chin.

"It was alright but I wish I was here with you instead." He said looking down at my lips.

"Well your here now." I said letting out a little smile and placing my hand on his cheek.

"I love you so much miya, you know that right?" He said scooting in closer.

"Yea, I love you too." I said and leaned in and kissed him. He moved his lips away from mine and looked me into my eyes.

I thought you were sick?" He said still looking into my eyes.
