Stingray continued to cry, still in her adopted father's arms. He hugged her tight, not letting her go.
"Daddy! Daddy!" Stingray wailed, scared that Ray would come any closer.
"Shh!" Whale tried to calm her, but it obviously wasn't helping. She was simply too scared to accept this.
Ray watched the two, something boiling inside of her.
Why... She thought, tilting her head in a psychotic way.
Do I suddenly...want to...kill...everything...in...my...path...?
Ray started to laugh. She grabbed her stomach and started to laugh even harder, slamming her hand in the door.
Whale furrowed his brow, taking a step back.
"Ray...?!" He asked, his voice increasing in pitch.
Ray continued laughing.
"It's funny somehow!" She screamed, tears running down her face from laughing so hard.
"Watching little dragon squeal and scream as they die!" She screeched, going snout-to-snout with Whale, her eyes looking so dilated and crazy that the stare made Whale want to run and hide with just a glance.
"Hahahaha!" She screeched as she submerged her finger in sand.
