New Beginning

Chapter 8

Erika's POV

I woke up to the sound of rain. I got my self out of Niall's grip and saw that our nanny was giving Rachel and James their breakfast.

"Oh I'm so sorry that I didn't get up when I was supposed to." I said frowning cause the nanny does a lot of things for us.

"It's ok sweetie I understand you being tired but I got this I will take them to school." She said.

"Rachel James I will be picking you two up after school." I said kissing their heads. "Have a nice day love both of you." I told them.

I walked back upstairs so I could take a shower. I have to go to my mothers stupid work today so I could see what's going on.

I don't really want to go cause I have to work and I don't want to be late.

After I was done with my shower I called my mom saying that I was gonna go to work and not go to her work.

She understood and I got ready for work. I left Niall a note saying I was going to work. I put the note by his side of the bed.

I kissed his forehead and got into my car and drove to work. Sometimes I hate being at work.

When I got there I saw Kerry there at the counter. "Oh my god Erika look at you, you have changed so much." She said and ran over to me.

We talked for a while and told me that I have to clean around cause I haven't been here in such a long time I don't even remember when and I had blue hair last time I was here.

I moped the floors. At least this is better than working at the cash register I hate that part of the job.

I looked at the time an saw that it was 11:45 so that means my shift is over.

My boss gave me my money from last week yeah that's right I still get paid even when I don't go to work, I'm such a boss.

I got into my car and drove to Rachel and James school to pick them up. I got there in five minutes so I just sat in my car and waited for them.

Ten minutes past and the next thing I know is I see Rachel and James running to the car with smiles on their faces.

Rachel was the first to the car and jumped into her car seat and James just struggled to get into his.

I got out and buckled Rachel up and went over to James and helped him and buckled him up.

"Mummy can we get something from McDonald's?" James asked. "Yeah" Rachel said.

"Fine just this one time." I told them and went to McDonalds. I only do this cause I love them.

I went through the drive thru and ordered a boy and girl happy meal and two small waters.

After that we went home so Niall wouldn't worry about where I am with the kids.

We got home and I got the two out of their car seats and they ran inside to see their dad.

I walked inside and was greeted with a big lick on the leg. I looked down an there was Karmin with eyes that looked like she was hungry.

I put food in her dish and patted her head and went over to Niall and the kids.

I say on his lap and we watched the kids play with their new toys. "You know we need to get a night to our selfs sometime." Niall whispered in my ear.

"Maybe." I smirked at him. I kissed his cheek and snuggled up to him. he put his arms around me and kissed my head.

Karmin jumped into the couch and put her head on my lap and shut her eyes.

I petted her head so she would feel loved. I could hear quit snores coming from her.

Niall started to rub my side and I felt safe in his arms and I just felt like falling asleep right hear.

I have notice I have been falling asleep often and more than have been it is probably a side affect from the pills I'm taking.

I feel asleep in his arms cause I was done fighting of the sleep and just fell asleep.

"Erika it's time for your pill." Niall said holding out a pill for me and I took it and he gave me a glass of water.

I looked around and saw that Rachel and James were coves in a blanket on the chair sleeping.

I put my cup down and swallowed my pill and closes my eyes. Niall laid down next to me on the couch with his arms around me.
