After I texted Celeste and said goodnight, Samuel was still awake.
Then by my surprise he asked
"how long is it going to take you to realize you love her?" he said.
"What?" I said a little nervous.
"Oh come on I know you're in denial" he said.
"Samuel, her cheating boyfriend literally just broke up with her yesterday" I said.
"Sounds familiar" he said quietly. I just looked at the ground.
"Sebastian this is the happiest I've seen you since what happened last time you visited California" he said.
"The days are starting to seem a little brighter than usual I guess" I replied.
"Fine but I know that you feel happy because you know she's single" he said.
He was right. I actually felt really relieved when she told me about her ass of a boyfriend breaking up with her yesterday.
"How did you even ask Ariana so easily with no hesitation?" I asked.
He sighed and said "I don't know I guess I had hope and told myself
"maybe its her".
