Joe and Carnelian had just arrived within walking distance of the house. They had disguised themselves as trespassers. They wore bathing suits, Joe in his t-shirt and trunks; Carnelian in a two piece bikini with a coverslip and sunglasses combing back her hair. Joe was carrying a slightly large cooler and Carnelian was carrying a towel and beach umbrella.

"Hey!" Someone exclaimed, "This part of the beach is closed off to the public." Two men in a basic shirt sporting a logo of a private security company approached them aggressively. They were hands on and pushy when they met up with them. Joe dropped the cooler in a surrendering gesture while the men man-handled him.

Carnelian reached for a syringe hidden between the fold of her towel. She released the umbrella, letting it slid off her shoulder.

As one of the guards reached forward for the umbrella, Carnelian grabbed his wrist and failed to nudge him forward. In his moment of confusion, she injected him on the side of his thigh. He pushed her away in response. Joe restrained the other guard by jumping him and putting him in a chokehold. The man struggled leaving two claw mark's on Joe's forearm and one on his bicep. Carnelian wasn't expecting the effects of the drug to work so slow on her guy, he was swaying and squinting to see her, but he wasn't passing out. Dropping to the sandy ground in his blurry vision, she reached for her towel and pulled it closer to herself. She had prepared two more syringes. One fell out on its way to her but she had the other right where she needed it.

Carnelian's guy lost sight of her. But he could hear and recognize his friend's frustrated groans, "Guh! Ahk! Kah!". So he charged right at the disfigured blurry figure. He pinned them both down and passed out in the process.

Carnelian took the final syringe and used it on the second guard. She then helped Joe up out of the two bodies immobilizing him.

"You were slow." Joe said. "And too early. This could have gone a lot smoother by the fence. What if someone else saw us and ran to their rescue?"

"We were leaving our gear behind. We could have gotten away either way. But unsuccessfully." she explained referring to the contents of the cooler, "They would of made it difficult for a second attempt if they found out our objective." She looked down at the pile. "He would have made it unsuccessful. Also, your tan got smudged off on his clothes."

Joe took a good look at the situation. There were too many things in the way for Beverly to get a clear shot, even by the fence it would have been difficult in terms of timing. If another guard had been nosey things would have escalated and gotten loud. Carnelian did have a point with drug not acting as quick as they anticipated. There were two extra syringes and she used all three. He didn't know why she did it with little physical effort or specifically with the sadative when she could have been more lethal. But they did contain the situation. They dragged the bodies to the nearest shrubbery and positioned the men in a concealed manner. And Joe hid his discolouration with the beach towel, shoulder to shoulder to draw attention away from the scratches.

They made it to the front porch of the beach house. It was unsettling. There were no guards on patrol there. Joe knocked on the door. A guard opened it with a gun in his hand. He directed Carnelian inside and detained Joe, confiscating a gun and silencer. Carnelian met with three other guards. She had nothing on her. They made her sit on the couch and explain herself. They had deduced that she was in a hostage situation and was forced to help Joe. Judging from what they saw. She just stood and cowered then helped the man up.

"Is there more of them?" a guard asked her, "Are they holding your family or someone close to you?"

Carnelian sold her helplessness and fear really well. "Yes. I live two houses down. There's one more person that he come with. And he's threatened to kill my mom and dad." teary eyed with a worried expression she said," Please, they only wanted the person livin' in this house. He wouda call his partner and call it off when we finish the job."

One of the guards went to check it out. They were keeping an eye on her and Joe, but mostly on Joe. Carnelian asked the men if there were a spare shirt or something lying around in the house, whilst indicating her uncomfortableness with the criss cross of her arms. They gave her a Hawaiian shirt that were a size medium for males. It hid most of her well. Another man dressed more comfortably came down from the second floor, to meet with the other two guards handling Joe presumably. He didn't even notice her. She just had to take out one guy. He kept his gun in it's holder. She knew she could do this swiftly and quietly.

"Is that a real gun?" she said reaching behind her back to loosen her bikini string. "It looks fake." Stretching her hands over her head in a arch, she yawned then shielded her mouth while one of her arms stayed in the air.

"It's real." he said. "And I'm not going to let you hold it or anything."

"Ok." she said as she massaged her neck loosing the other bikini string. The top piece dropped to her navel. "Could you get me some water then?"

"Sure." he said. He got up and went to the kitchen. It was an open floor plan so he could make simple glances at her back and forth. "Do you go to a school around here or something? I was thinking of bringing my daughter down here and enrolling her. It's suppose to look good on an application...coming from a school in the Caribbean."

Carnelian had tucked her forearms into the shirt, fully concealing them in the folds protruding from the side and base of her upper torso. The top she was wearing was padded. There were packets of needle thin darts with poisoned tips hidden in the padding. She slipped the packet into the waistline of her bikini and tied all two pairs of strings from her top around her waist to keep it in place. The guard rested the tall a glass of water on the coffee table and nudged it to her then sat down across from her.

"I think it has something to do with diversifying the student population." she said. "Can I get a straw?"

"Diversifying?" the man said giving her a perplexed look. He got back up to get a straw. "What ever happened to being better in something than everyone else?"

"It have something to do with well roundedness." she said as she quietly snuck up on him. She got him on the back of his neck. He didn't feel a thing.

"Woah, I didn't see you there." he said as he immediately bumped into her. "Sorry."

"It's Okay. It's my fault. I was being curious." she said. "I doh want one anymore."

They both sat back down. The guard was trying to gain control of himself. He didn't react that much except for sliding off his chair and falling back on the floor unconscious. Carnelian had a moment of guilt overlooking the body. She still needed to rescue Joe. She got a weapon from the kitchen and went off to look for the cooler with a small cleaver in her hand.
