Chapter 16

Jeff's PoV

Dammit. I forgot which house she lives in. Well, I guess it's going to have to be a slaughter fest until I find her house.

One by one, all but one member of each house dead. Did I go to the wrong street?

You're such a moron, Jeff.

I'm trying.

You're "trying" is not enough for us. You should have killed her the first day you saw that thing.

She's different.

She is probably blabbing to the FBI right now.

"She's different!" I shouted out loud as blood ran down off my hands.

It's a trick.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" I screeched.

My mind finally went silent. Now I can focus on finding Faith. You would think that I would remember after all the times I snuck in.

Finally, I found a house with a bunch of police cars outside of it. Without a doubt, I was able to sneak in the back window.

Of course, the window of the tiny bathroom.

Second mission, finding her bedroom. Easy. At least she was not in there at the time. I sat on the side of the bed that did not face the door.

---------------

The door creaked open and I did not face her at first.

"You left me," I muttered.

"Jeff?" Faith questioned.

"No, Slenderman," I responded.

"I-I was scared and I did what I thought was the best choice," She apologized in a way.

"Are you scared now?" I asked.

"Kind of," Faith answered.

I got up and stood close to her face.

"Good," I mumbled.

I thought she would scream or run or something. Instead she... hugged me. I was so confused. It was not like a light brief hug. A tight TIGHT hug. I hated it. Did I?

"I missed you," She whispered.

Um. What.

"Please get me out of here or stay with me," Faith begged.

"I'm not letting you out of my sight after what happened," I muttered again.

Her hug got tighter. She better not squeeze the blood out of me even if I love blood.

"You can let go," I said.

She let go of me. Finally. I don't know what to feel. If I should like it or feel awkward. Maybe even annoyed?

You should kill her.

No.

Yes.

No.

Yes.

"No!" I shouted.

I could hear footsteps walking to her room. I pulled open the closet doors and hid in there.

"Are you okay?" Someone asked.

"Yeah, the 'no' came from the tv," Faith covered.

Then the person left.

This girl is more different and strange than I have ever thought.
