Hello Again

I have been in a  wheelchair for about a year now. I've been getting regular checkups at the hospital and taking my medication everyday. Mostly I've been hanging out with Franny and Farren. They are so nice and silly.

I have missed Jerome so badly though. I wonder how he's been lately? I need him. I want him. But I think that ship has sailed already. My aunt don't let me see him and I know she's trying to protect me but I love him and I need,him.

I decided that I was  going to ask her if I could see jerome today. So I did.

"Hey Debs!"

"Yeah Mal?"

"Can I go see jerome today? Please!?"

"Sweetheart we have your mom's funeral today.But you can go see him afterwards if he doesn't come to they funeral."

"Thank you!!!!! I love you aunt Debbie!"

"I love you too sweetheart!"

Yayyyy! I get to see jerome today. I'm so happy but yet so sad. Why couldn't the funeral be any other day? I want it spend time with jerome but I want to see my mother. Why does this have to be so hard? I started to cry.

-Later:Funeral-

We were one of the let people to show up. Guess that happens when you have two little girls and a teen in a wheelchair. I saw Jerome. I started to cry again. He showed up! He actually showed up! He looked at me and I looked at him. I whispered thank you.

Then we got to the seats.  My family was their and I was happy. They said a few words and then the preacher said a few words. They wanted me to sing one of my mom's favorite song. I couldn't sing, I knew that. But I was going to do it for her because I know she would have wanted me to do it. So I did.

After I was finished with the song. The funeral was over. I  rolled myself out when Ben came up to me.

"Mal. Please forgive me. I didn't mean to do it. I'm so sorry! Please!."

"Just leave me alone Ben. I don't need this right now."

"Mal. Please!" he said as he tried to kiss me.

"Leave me alone. Stop touching me."

But he wouldn't. Then jerome came.

"Hey Blondie." he said as he tapped on his shoulder. Then he punched him in his face.

"She said to leave her alone. Now leave!"

So Ben got up and he left. It felt like it was only me and Jerome for a moment. Then Franny and Farren came.

"That was really cool mister." said Franny.

"Yeah. Can you show how to punch like that?" asked farren.

We laughed and Jerome said sure.  Then they left.He walkes up to me and grabs my cheeks and kisses me.

"Hiya Snowflake."

"Hiya Ginger."

"Still in a wheelchair, I see."

"Yep. The doctors say that I could be in it for the rest of my life."

"Woah. I'm gonna pretend that you didn't just hit with some hard news." He said with a chuckle.

I laughed.

Debbie came out and went to the car.

"Hold on. I gotta ask Debbie a question."

"Okay." said J.

I rolled myself to where Debbie was at.

"Hey, aunt Debbie. Could I go to jeromes house and spend the night?"

"Sure. Just make sure if you're gonna do it bring condoms and take your birth control.'

"Woah..... Language aunt Debbie. Not in from of the kids." I said mockingly.

She laughed and said that she was going, to bring me clothes later.Then I went back to Jerome.

"Good news!

"What?"

"I get to spend the night with you!" I said excitedly. He kissed me again. Thne he called Tido and he came and picked us up. We went back to his trailer and cuddled.
