I've just landed in L.A and I'm so excited. I can't wait to start my new life here and get used to a new environment. I'm just a little bummed that I never met Brea. We have grown so close and meeting each other would have grown our friend and would have been awesome. But there is always other times for that.

I reached my new apartment and unpacked my things then decided to text her.

Lance: Hey! I just finished unpacking!

Brea: You're already there!? I've been waiting for your text!

Lance: Sorry, I didn't have time to. My plane delayed and everything has just been crazy

Brea: It's okay, Lance. Don't beat yourself up for it.

Lance: Hey, wanna video chat?

Brea: Are you sure? We've only ever texted. Never talked.

Lance: It's okay if your not ready to talk to me. We can just text.

Brea: No, Lance. I follow you on Instagram and I see your pics. I know how you look. So talking to you wont be so bad.

Lance: Are you sure?

Brea: Yes, now call me on snap.

Lance: Okay!

Incomming call from Lance

I stared at it for a brief moment before finally clicking answer. I was so scared that I switch the camera away from me. What if Lance isn't who he said he was? What if he is a online predator? What if those photos are fake!? I'm really scared.

Lance: Brea? I can't see you.

I looked at the screen. The same handsome Asian boy I've seen photos of on his Instagram was on the screen.

Brea: Lance? thank goodness you're real.

Lance: What are you talking about?

Brea: I just thought you would be catfishing me or something.

Lance: Oh, I get that. I still can't see you, Brea.

Brea: Oh, right!

 I switched the camera so he could see my face and he smiled.

Lance: There you are!

Brea: hey.

Lance: hey. *smiles*

Brea: Gosh, this is weird.

lance: yeah, I've never heard you actually talk.

Brea: Yeah, well there is a first time for everything *laughs*

Lance: *laughs* Yeah.

Brea: So what are you doing?

Lance: Nothing much. Just hanging out in my room.

Brea: Where's your mom?

Lance: She went out to get us some Panda Express. Since we just moved she can't cook and stuff. You know?

Brea:Yeah. Well I hope you have fun in Cali. I heard its really fun there.

Lance: Hey, you should come visit sometime!

Brea: Darn, I already asked my mom but she decided THEN was the perfect time to tell me that we are moving to New York. Which is the complete opposite side of America from where you are so... :(

Lance: Cheer up, Brea. I'll see you soon. 

Brea: Yeah, I hope.

I noticed by then he was just staring at me while smiling.

Brea: lance...what are you doing?

Lance: I just.... never saw how beautiful you were in your pictures until I saw you like....this.

Brea: *blushes* trust me. I'm not beautiful. 

Lance: You sure are.

Brea: *blushes harder* well you're pretty handsome yourself!

Lance: oh, you think so? I don't see it.

Brea: Literally every beautiful person doesn't see their own beauty. *laughs*

Lance: Just like you don't see yours? *smirks*

Brea: Well...me, I'm a different story. I look like a kangaroo. I'm not pretty.

Lance: You know kangaroos are cute, right? *laughs*

Brea: Okay, bad example!

Lance: Alright *laughing* 

Brea: *yawns* I have to get to bed now.

Lance: What time is it?

Brea: It's 10:54 in Texas. Hbu?

Lance: 8:54 here.

Brea: Good night, Lance.

Lance: Goodnight, gorgeous.

Brea: Shut up. :D

I don't know why but talking to Lance seemed to be so relieving. I haven't really had anyone to talk to lately since Summer and I stopped being friends. Lawrence and Freddy have drifted away from me as well since as always, they take her side. I don't care anyway. Like I said before, I didn't lose my friends, I just realized I never had any to begin with. But now I have Lance and he treats me better than all three of them combined even if we have never met in person. Lance seemed like a nice guy, now I know for sure that he is.
