Chapter 23

" Aria" Thor said in shock when he saw me and I smirked. " There is no way, your leaving without me." I told him." Actually, we were wondering where you had wondered off to." He admitted

 Jane spotted Loki and went over to him. " Your?" She asked and he nodded. " I am Loki, -" That was all he had a chance to say before she slapped him across the face, causing me to smile in approval as she said. " That was for New York."

" I like her." Loki told Thor with a smirk and I could feel Chloe stirring in annoyance at the back of my mind. " Easy Chloe, that wasn't what he meant." I mentally told her as Dahlia snickered from her own corner, something which started a mental argument between the two, wonderful.

I followed Jane, Loki, and Thor onto the ship, and sat next to Jane on the floor while Loki and Thor tried to get the ship to turn on. Chloe and Dahlia went quiet as Thor got the ship to move, knocking out several pillars as he turned the ship. " I think you missed a column. " Loki said

" Shut up." Thor snapped

" Look, why dont you let me take over. I'm clearly the better pilot." Loki told him and Thor scoffed. " Is that right? Well, out of the two of us, which one can actually fly?" He retorted.

" Um, Thor maybe you should let him take over." I suggested as we nearly hit another tower, but he ignored me. Jane fell over and I glanced at her in concern as Chloe appeared on the other side of her, seeing as I couldn't touch her. " I'm fine." Jane assured and I shared a look with Chloe, before looking at Thor as we hit another building. " Not a word." He told Loki, moments before he took the head off of a statue of Bor.

" Well done, you just decapitated your grandfather." Loki told him.

Thor took us closer to the rainbow bridge, and I smirked at Chloe as we both read his mind. Chloe disappeared as I moved to the other side of Jane, and Loki began to rant about Thor's brilliant plan, seconds before Thor shoved him out of the open door of the ship. Thor picked her up and I moved over to the door to find a smaller ship below us. I jumped without a second thought and felt wind rush passed me, seconds before I felt gravity give up it's control as I took flight. Loki gave me a look as I landed next to him, Thor and Jane not far behind me. " You lied to me." Loki said. " I'm impressed."

" Glad your pleased. Now do as you promised, take us to your secret pathway."

Loki took control of the ship and I started toward Jane, only to stop when he called out. " Aria, I need you back here if this is going to work."

" why do I not like the sound of that." I whispered to Thor, as Loki pulled the ship around to let Fandral off. " Place your hand on the stirring mechanism." Loki told me and I gave him a look, one that clearly read him as crazy, before I took it from him. " Guide the ships between the rocks." I heard Loki whisper in my mind. " Keep it steady, or we will crash into the side, and die." Loki warned.

" Loki, are you mad."

" Possibly." He responded and I gulped. " Focus on the location in your mind, and teleport us." Loki told me and all the color drained from my face. " Just like when you brought us to Asgard, but this time, reach for the power within you, Aria." 

And as if his words had unlocked something inside of me, I pushed the throttle forward, driving us straight through the mountain which exploded with a kaleidoscope of light.
