A day of research on Eisenwald had begun as soon as they accepted the mission. Silver scanning every book on the 'E' shelf in a short matter of hours.
"Here we go. They were a dark guild almost two or three decades ago. It says they disbanded after their best members all got imprisoned....Erigor the Reaper, Kageyama the Shadow Master, thats only to name a few. They were experts in assassination jobs." Silver continued to read a couple facts about the guild before stating, "They were defeated by Fairy Tail after trying to use the death flute known as Lullaby to kill the guild masters.."Layla was stunned. "So we already beat these losers?! Guess we've gotta put them in their place just like our parents did!" She shouted proudly.
They all exchanged glances before Asuka re-entered the library with what looked like a schedule for something. "So, where is our first target to find these Eisenwald guys?" She asked. Placing the timetable down on the desk located in the centre of the library. The schedule also contained a map of the train tracks along with leaving and arrival times for every station.
"Well the best place to check would be..." Silver once again scanned through the book, finishing it in a matter of seconds thanks to the gale-force reading glasses she owned. "Their last base of operation located in Oshibana Town."
Asuka studied the map. Assessing every possible route. "If we leave right now, we can catch the next train right to Oshibana Town and be there within three hours."
"T-...Train..." Layla and Silver both mumbled in unison and glanced at one another. Feeling sick just at the mention of it.
"Well yeah, you think I had a train timetable so we could walk along the tracks?" Asuka asked with a quick laugh.
With some hesitation they all began making their way to the nearest station. Managing to catch the train the gunslinger was talking about. The five of them found a collection of seats, Storm and Layla on one side and Silver, Nikos and Asuka on the significantly larger other side.
"I feel like I'm dying!!..." Layla shouted overly dramatically as she laid down across the seat. Her legs overtaking Storm's lap, he didn't seem to care. Only lightly trying to push her off.
"Leave her be, Storm. Like all dragonslayers she gets sick when it comes to travelling on vehicles." Nikos explained. Currently an unconscious Silver leaned against her.
With a groan the ice-water mage just made himself comfortable with the dragonslayer's legs over him.
Several Hours Later
The train came to a stop before Oshibana Station, an unexpected one. Asuka, being the only one not supporting a dragonslayer decided to check it out. She summoned her revolver back into its holster and held her hand directly above it. Ready for incase something went wrong.
"We apologise for this unexpected pause in our journey passengers, it would seem someone has decided to jump directly in-front of the train. We are sending someone to remove them and we will then proceed as planned." The drivers voice came clear through the speakers. This made Asuka's eyes go wide and she rushed out as fast as she could.
There they were, clear as day, someone dressed fully in a black robe, a hood covering their face. "Fairy Tail...." They hissed upon noticing the purple marking located just above her cropped shirt.
"Yeah. Fairy Tail. What's your problem?" She responded. Not daring to move her hand away from her holster.
They stranger was silent for a solid minute. They slowly raised their hands and soon shadows covered the floor. Clinging to Asuka from the bottom. The shadows prevented her from moving her legs. Creeping up her body as more and more of her limbs became immobile. "L-...Let me go!" She cried out as she lost the use of her fingers. It felt like she was choking as the shadows stopped upon reaching the top of her neck.
"Any final words, insect?" They growled getting closer and closer to the restricted gunslinger.
She waited, biding her time until the attacker was close enough. She then gave a weak smirk and delivered a rough headbutt to them.
"Gah!...You dare to strike me?!" The stranger was knocked back and the shadows that clung to Asuka's skin flickered and she gained temporary moments of movement. Allowing her to whip out her revolver and begin unloading rounds of bullets towards the shadow user.
Enough hit them to force them backwards. Towards the edge of the canyon that the train was driving over. "You haven't seen the last of us! Long live Eisenwald!" They shouted, in one final moment, as the wind picked up drastically knocking their hood down and exposing their long black hair that flopped over one eye and their feminine features. They were picked up by what looked like a miniature tornado and carried off into the sky."Wh-...What the hell just happened..." Asuka asked as she fell to her knees. Coughing as the tightness of the shadows that were previously upon her began to take its toll.
She was retrieved by the train guards and brought back to her seat. They re-begun their journey and hoped nothing else stopped them on their way.
Meanwhile, At the Eisenwald Guild
"You failed me, Dragonfly..." The white haired male stated, his voice full of venom as he placed the blade of his scythe behind the cloaked female's neck.
"I'm sorry, Master Haize..I won't fail you again." She mumbled. Looking disappointed in herself.
"Of course you won't. Because you wish to live...Soren! Come here and show this dragonfly what happens when you fail Eisenwald twice in a row!"
An older muscular man with dark green hair made his way over. Grinning to himself. An unconscious wizard was thrown into the room. The word 'FAILURE' carved into their exposed chest. Soren walked to the wizard and shoved his hand right through their chest. Using phasing magic to make this more easier for him. Blood splurged out of the unconscious wizards body as life fully left their eyes.
"Thank you Soren. I'm sure Dragonfly won't fail us again..."
"I-...I won't!...D...Don't hurt me!" She shouted out loud. Terrified beyond all belief. She just watched her guild-mate be murdered without a second thought. Anyone would be scared.
