Leaving his little sister was not really an 'I saw this coming' kind of thing. Although, there was nothing he could do. Looking at his sister in his hands only made him regret this discission even more. But what other choice did he have? When you got people trying to hunt you and your sister Down for being immortal, it never really made space for many choices. Looking at his sister's pale white hair and crimson eyes one more time, Hidan left. Filled with remorse.

13 years later

Growing up being hated by the villagers of the leaf was not part of Noriko's plan. Adding salt to injury, her sensei and that teme on her team seems to want her six feet under. Only having her best friends, Sakura Haruno, and the kyuubi, or Kura-kun, to keep her sane. Becoming sick of the way she is treated, she leaves after the chunin exams to search for her brother. After all, she would want her brother to be right beside her when the Leaf Village burns.

3rd pov

After the genin exam, which ended by Narumi and Sasuke teaming up, the team started missions the next day. Now after three weeks, they are ready for their first c-rank mission.

"Scarecrow to team, what's the update?"

"Habañera Fox, point A. Target locked in sight,"

Uchiha Prince, point B. Target seems to be moving,"

"Sakura Petals, point C. I am three meters away from our target. Shall I pursue?"

"Permission granted. Your mission, catch Tora the Demon Cat"

"Hai!"

Three blurs rushed over shrubs, trying to grab a tabby cat.

The cat was first surprised, but got over it. She tried to scratch the three, yet only successfully hitting the pink blur. A yelp echoed through the small district of the Leaf.

Before Tora could escape, a pair of warm, yet cold, hands picked her up. As she was about to attack, the figure started to pet her. Purring was her immediate response to the gentle action. 

The figure had a animal like vibe to it, making Tora even more relaxed. The vibe practically screamed fox. Not that she had a problem with it.

Narumi grinned when Tora rubbed her head against her hand, while melting into her embrace. She understood why Tora kept running away. She has seen how the Daiyamo's wife treated the poor feline.

"Who's a good kitten? You are! Yes, you are, little Tora," she cooed at the purring feline gently.

The only response she got was a content meow. Narumi  only grinned.

"This is Habañera Fox reporting. Mission is complete. Tora the Demon Cat has been captured," she spoke into her head piece.

"Good job team. Let us report it to Hokage-sama and then we will pick up another mission. Hopefully something that can get you working till you sweat blood," hearing their sensei give off that horrendous idea made Team Seven sweat drop.

"Hai, Kakashi-sensei!" Although worried for their wellbeing, the three preteens agreed.

*Le time Skippy*

"Congratulations, team seven. You completed more D-Rank missions than any other team," the Hokage praised the newly formed team. Sasuke and Narumi fist bumped while Sakura still fumed from the damage that darn cat did to her beautiful face. She was actually very happy when she heard a few cracked bones from the Daiyamo's wife's arms.

Although, the Hokage-sama wasn't done with his speech.

Now now, I am not finished. Even though it is better than others, your teamwork needs practice. Your next mission is to clean the outside walls of Konoha--," the Honorable Hokage was cut off by a shrill screech. 

"Hell no!" It was no other than our pink haired banshee that interrupted the second strongest ninja in the village.

"Excuse me?" Sarutobi asked bewildered. Although his tone had a sharp tone to it.

"I can't do anymore of these damn D-Ranks! Gaining muscles is gonna ruin my figure and all this sweat is doing damage to my hair!!" The girl continued to rant about her looks while the others just look at her like she's insane.

A soft sigh from their leader finally got their attention making them straighten up once more.

"How about this Haruno-san? Because you and your team has finished so much D-Ranks, you will get a C-Rank. Nothing to strenuous. All you have to do is escort a bridge builder to his village so he can complete his bridge," the Hokage summarized, looking older than he already is.

"Send him in," he ordered the ANBU next to him. The ANBU nodded and disappeared to Kami knows where.

A few moments later, an elderly guy stumbled in looking drunk. Team seven looked sceptical at the man.

"Huh? What's this? I asked for ninjas and all I get is a duckbutt emo brat, princess bubble gum, and tomato face?" He snarled.

The others in the room, except for Sakura, although she felt slightly weary of the name, stiffened at the name tomato and glanced at Narumi.

"That wasn't such a good idea, you old man," Sasuke's voice drawled out as he saw the state of his little sister.

Narumi's hair started to float slightly, but it seemed like she was controlling her temper.

All Narumi did was send Tazuna a sickly sweet smile and a long, pale, slender middle finger.

The bridge builder only scoffed at her. "My name is Tazuna, the bridge builder. I would like to make it back to my village back in one piece. You brats better show some respect."

The room became painfully quiet. No one made a sound.

That is, until Narumi broke the silence.
