"You Lord are a sovereign God"

Lord you are majestic in your ways,
your mighty hand surrounds me with
the love that you bestow upon my life.

You Lord are a sovereign God
Your sons passion on the cross is
why we are given eternal life, his
death saved us from an eternity in hell,

Your speaks the truth, you say this in
John  1:1-2: " the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God,
He was there in the
"beginning with God"

You were there for us even when we didn't even know you,
you are the same yesterday, today,
and forever,
you will always be a shining light in our hearts,
you heal the wounds of the hurting,
you the father to the orphans,
you are the great physician when we are struggling to fight the
raging battles of life.

You are there when I need you
you hold me when I need you
you quench my thirst with the living
water that you provide only for me.
