chapter 3

☼Gina's Point of View☼

"Luke?" I spoke quietly.

"Mhmm?" I wanted to ask him a question so badly, but I don't know. Maybe it's too personal.

"What's the inspiration of the song 'Wherever You Are'? If it's too personal you don't have to tell me. It's just such as beautiful song. I know you say it's for the fans, but I don't buy it."

"Uh.. Well. A long while back I a was with a girl and we.. Uh.. Had to break up when I went on tour. I really missed her back then, but I don't anymore. She got really rude and all.. Uh yeah."

"Oh. Sorry I didn't mean to-"

"It's okay." He interrupted me. A smile plastered all over his face,"I didn't know what love was back then, but I think I do now."

"Okay so what is the definition of love to you?"

"My definition is there is no words to describe it." He smiled cheekily and started laughing.

"That doesn't even make any sense." I giggled. We sat in a peaceful silence until I yawned.

"You still tired?" He asked. I nodded my head in response. "C'mere." He pulled me close to him and rested my head on his shoulder. "You can go to sleep, I'll make sure nothing happens." Was the last words I heard before my dreams took over.

☼Luke's Point of View☼

"I think I love you." I mumbled when I knew she was asleep. I kissed the top of her head and just sat there, I mean I did promise to stay awake, didn't I? I don't understand what's happening, I've only known this girl for two hours and I think I love her. I know it seems crazy, but it's true.

I rested my head back onto the booth. Just as I finally relaxed a loud noise struck the building. Over and over and over. I shook Gina awake,"Gina! I think the hurricane is literally on top of us." She grabbed my hand and dragged me into a small closet-like room.

"They always say to go into the smallest room without any windows or glass." She said cuddling into the corner of the wall. "Good idea." He said quickly. "This is really strange this feels like seven minutes in heaven." She blurted out and I can already tell she was embarrassed and probably regretted saying that. "It can be if you want it to." I smirked at her. "Luke! You nasty, little pervert! She said slapping my arm. "Owe. That hurt can you kiss it better?" I asked making her cheeks tint red. "What are you, a baby?" She asked hiding her face in her hands.

Minutes of banging and loud booming noises passed as we sat there examining the room. "Why do you always make me blush?" She asked out of no where. "I could ask the same question to you." I said. She just shook her head and leaned against the wall.

"I'm really glad I decided to come in here." I laughed. "And I'm really glad I forgot to lock the door."

"I just find it funny that out of all the people I could've been stuck with, it ended up being you." She said sitting down directly next to me instead of across from me.

"At least I'm in here and not out there in the chaotic storm." I sighed.

"You better be thanking me for that one." She scoffed.

"Can I thank you with a kiss?"

"I don't know. Can you?" She asked smirking.

I leaned in and my lips finally touched hers. I felt sparks as I put my hands on her lower waste. She pulled me closer and put her hands around my neck. She pulled away.

"This isn't right.." She said as she shook her head,"I've only known you for two or three hours and there's literally a hurricane happening right now."

"I know it's wrong, but it felt so right. I just wanna know if I'll be able to steal more kisses from you once I can say I've known you for more than twenty-four hours."

She squinted at me and smiled. "Maybe you can." She said smirking.

"Pinky promise?" I said holding out my pinky. "Do you know how childish you sound?" She asked me,"but sure." She held out her pinky. "Pinky promise." She said to me.

"Do you think the building is okay?" I asked.

"I don't know, but I'm too scared to check." She spoke quietly.

"I hope my band-mates are okay. I kind of snubbed them before I left."

"Same with my family." She said sighing.

She laid her head in my lap and began to fall asleep again. "I'm going to sleep. If you need anything wake me up." She mumbled.

I looked at her and how cute she was. I want to make her mine. She has to be mine. Man, Calum was going to freak out. I haven't had a real girlfriend since Aleisha and Calum practically hated her.

I played with her hair as she heavily breathed in and out. I took in all her features. Her long, dark hair, thick long eyelashes, her little freckles on the side of her cheek. Everything about her was perfect to me. I can't let her slip away.

"Don't! Don't!" She yelled. She was sleep talking. I began to laugh silently. "Why are you so annoying I'm trying to talk to him." I have no clue what is going on with her mind. "Luke is my life." She mumbled. I began to laugh at her choice of words while she was sleeping. "DID YOU MISSES MY KISSES." She yelled loudly. She rolled over to her other side as I began to laugh even harder. She was completely out of it and it was the funniest thing I've seen in a while.

She started snoring lightly. She must be a heavy sleeper. I opened the door to the small room and walked into the coffee shop. Nothing was ruined, but the loud banging noise hadn't stopped. I tried to peak through a window, but the hurricane shutters were covering them all.

Hopefully everything's okay with the boys back at the hotel.

I scanned my eyes across the wall of the coffee shop to see an 'Employee of the Month' sign right below the sign was a picture of Gina smiling widely with her apron on. I laughed a little at the picture and how happy she looked.

There were pictures of the town all over the wall. It looked pretty cute. Seemed to fit Gina's personality.

I went over to the library part of the coffee shop and picked up a book that was opened and left on the top of a book shelf.

"Jane Eyre." I read out loud. Seems like a good book. Maybe Gina was reading it?

I went back to the room to see Gina still fast asleep and I quietly closed the door.

I leaned against the wall and closed my eyes. What have I gotten myself into?
