"Oh my gosh, I'm so nervous. What if I mess up? What if I forget the words? What's that one part of the chore-"

"Jisu-eunnie," I interrupted placing my hands on her shoulders and looking into her blue-contacted eyes. "We're all freaking out, okay? You're not alone in this."

"Y/n is right Jisu, we're in this together. We're Sky of Stars, and we win or lose as a team." our leader and eldest, Mina spoke up.

We gathered in a group huddle and put our hands in the middle. I looked up at our other members, SooMi and JaeEun who smirked at me.

"Don't tell me our maknae is nervous, the girl who was even recognized by Got7 sunbaenims."
I nervously chuckled. "Eunnie, when are you going to let that go?"

We suddenly heard the cue to get to our places backstage. "1, 2, 3, FIGHTING!" we cheered before splitting up.

This was a great day for us. We were all nervous as hell, it was our first live performance of the title track to our first comeback. As anxious as we were though, we rocked that night.

Mina was slaying her vocals as usual.
Jisu absolutely killed it on her dance solo.
SooMi did her rap flawlessly, even with the choreography making her slightly out of breath.
JaeEun hit her high note even better than she did in practice.
And I slid into my newly perfected split with no hesitation.

That wasn't all that made the night fantastic. That was the night that introduced me to another idol group I'd always loved.

After coming down from our stage, we sat in our spots next to Seventeen. They all bowed and cheered for us, and we were happy for the recognition. I sat on the edge of our group, next to a member I recognized as Vernon.

During a break, SooMi came over and asked if I brought my pretzels.

I reached into my bag, only to realize...

I'd left them in the car. I gave her an apologetic look as I shook my head. "I'm hungry too Eunnie...we've got a few hours to go still."

"Excuse me...noona?" Vernon suddenly asked, making sure that was the correct and polite term to use.

I felt myself turn slightly red. He wasn't much younger than I was, and it was the first time I'd ever been called Noona by a boy close to my age.

"Our group always brings food, if Noonas are hungry, I'm sure we could give you something."

"Oh no, we'll be fine." Mina insisted, always the most polite and well-spoken.

JaeEun nudged her slightly and frowned.

"We have tons of food ladies, please take some off of our hands." their leader, Sungcheol insisted. I gave a pleading look to Mina until she sighed and thanked him.

The four of us all but ran over to the boys. They had pretzels, chips, waters, fruit snacks, etc.

I grabbed some pretzels and fruit snacks when I realized I was face to face with Jihoon.

My face turned a very, very bright shade of red. He was my biggest idol crush. Jihoon gave me a kind of weird look before I scurried off.

My Eunnies giggled at my shyness as I quickly returned to my seat.
