Chapter 3
Alison's POV
"Where are we going?" Louis asked me walking towards his car.
"Wait," I protested.
"What?" He questioned looking up to meet my eyes. His blues eyes gazed into mine.
"There's a Rita's right down the road, not a far walk." I told him.
Louis nodded going towards the sidewalk. I followed behind him until I caught up to him and he was right next to me.
"So.." He pondered.
"Yeah..?" I asked, a little confused.
"Tell me about yourself." Louis ordered.
I sighed.
"What do you want to know?" I asked him.
"Let's start off with the basics. Favorite Color." Louis said stuffing his hands into his hoodie pockets. I realized I hadn't grabbed a sweatshirt. I wasn't that cold it was about 9:45.
"Turquoise. How about you?" I quizzed.
"Red." He asnwered looking down at his feet.
"Favorite drink?" I swear Louis had these questions layed out.
"Uh, Apple Juice." I answered honestly. I heard Louis snicker.
"Shut up." I whined.
"You're eighteen years old." Louis replied mocking me.
"You're the one to be talking, I've seen the video diaries." I said rolling my eyes.
"Mhmm." He hummed.
"Favorite One Direction song?" Louis asked. I turned to face him and he was looking directly at me waiting for an answer.
"Stand Up." I said without even thinking.
"You?" I asked him curiously.
"I like I Want." He replied simply.
"It's right around the corner here." I said turning the corner and revealing the Rita's building.
"Yay!" Louis cried and grabbed my wrist pulling me towards the building.
"Louis!" I screeched. I felt as though my arm was going to fall off at any second. That didn't stop Louis from continuing to pull my arm towards the Rita's. When Louis finally arrived at the building, I was stopped suddenly. This caused me to stumble over my own feet, I prepared myself for the ground to smash against my face but it didn't. Instead a pair of strong arms flexed around my waist, helping me keep my balance. I found my feet and stood up.
"Are you okay?" Louis asked me concerned.
"Yeah." I replied showing him a reassuring a smile.
"Sorry, I'm such a clutz." I told him, my face heating up. "I always have been.." I trailed off.
Louis noticed his arms were still wrapped around my waist. He pulled away slowly.
"Uh, Sorry." He mumbled, his cheeks turning pink. The way he blushed was kind of cute and sort of adorable.
"It's fine." I replied waving it off.
"Let's go pick our ice cream." He cheered pulling me towards the person at the register. It was teenage guy, around my age. Louis and I looked up at all the possible choices probably looking like two little kids.
"I'll have a soft serve vanilla ice cream on a wafer cone with rainbow sprinkles." I told the man and he went and got it as I asked. He gave me the cone and I started to lick the sprinkles off. Just then my phone started vibrating. Louis turned to look at me.
"You should answer that." He told me raising his eyebrows.
"I know." I said rolling my eyes and pulling out my phone. I saw Louis talking to the man ordering his ice cream. I turned around and walked one of the benches and sat on it.
"Hello?" I asked through the phone.
"ALLY?!" Liam's panicked voice sent chills down my spine. I never told him I was leaving. He's going to be so mad.
"Yeah?" I replied into the phone scared.
"Is Louis touching you? I swear to god if he is I will kill him." Liam said fury in his voice.
"Liam!" I exclaimed.
"He is, isn't he?" Liam cried into the phone.
"No!" I shierked and then licked some more sprinkles off my ice cream.
"Where are you then?!" Liam cried.
"Calm down! We went to get ice cream." I told him, soothing his worries.
"Where?" He asked, still worried.
"Rita's." I replied. I felt someone tap my shoulder, I turned around and saw Louis, he must have been standing there a while. He took the seat next tome licking his ice cream cone.
"Can I talk to Lou?" Liam's voice said.
Louis could obviously hear Liam because he still had a hint of worriedness in his voice.
Louis turned to face me, I had my phone held out to Louis but he didn't take it. I basically held it infront of his face.
"Quick, Ally, Hand me my trousers." Louis said. It was clearly audible to Liam and I heard him gasp through the phone. I tried to hold in a laugh.
"ALLISON NICOLE PAYNE." Liam shierked, I could feel my phone vibrating at his loudness.
"Calm down, Liam." I told him quielty, still trying to hide my laugh. Louis was holding in his laugh to, each of us taking licks of ice cream occasionly.
"When you guys get home-" Liam started but was interuppted by Louis hanging up my phone. I laughed again. We both finished up our ice cream and then headed home. I lead him back to the sidewalk that would eventually show us the way home. I hadn't realized how cold it had gotten. I shivered under the cold January air. Louis must have noticed and slipped off his hoodie and handed to me.
"You don't have to." I told him, honestly.
"Just take the damn jacket, Ally." Louis muttered. I sighed and pulled Louis' hoodie over my head. After I got the hoodie pulled over my head I felt the warmth comforting me. Louis smiled with victory. Louis and I talked a bit and occasionally would ask each other small questions that didn't really have that much importance. We arrived at our destination. Home. I glanced towards the window and already saw the worried expression on my dear brother, Liam.
