Power Rangers: The Last Call

Crystal's powers

The next morning, Crystal woke up from her bed on the beautiful Sunday morning and went to the bathroom. She went to the tub and ran the water on hot. She stripped down from her clothes and slowly got in. She had her phone in with her and turned on some music . Her favorite genre was classical. She only did this alone, however when she is around her friends she plays the latest pop songs. As she was reaching for the rag that was at the end of the tub to wash with, she noticed her hands started to vibrate severely. Her eyes popped open like she  saw a ghost and her hands started to glow a light blue color which made her start to scream. Her father was downstairs reading the newspaper that just arrived in the mail. He was sipping his coffee when this happened and when she screamed he rushed to her with a sprint.

He shouted as he was running up the stairs to the bathroom " Crystal, Crystal sweetheart are you alright ".  She heard him and stopped screaming. He was at the bathroom door when he said " sweetie whats going ". She calmed her heavily breathing and said " nothing dad, i just got a message from my friend saying that her puppy just died ". His face was in a confused state and he said to her on the other side of the door " are you sure ?". " yes dad, I'll be out in a sec " she replied. " ok well breakfast is downstairs ". Was his last reply.

After Crystal was done bathing in the middle of her panic attack of the glow that came from her hands, she went to put on her clothes and went downstairs. She saw the breakfast laid out on the table and said " really dad waffles and sausages, that's like the 3rd time this week. Why don't we have blueberry muffins like mom used to cook ?". Her father sat his coffee down and replied " because before she died she didn't leave her recipe. After all she did say it was a sacred family recipe ". Crystal's mom passed away of cancer when she was 12, it was the saddest moment of her life.

As she sat down and began to eat she remembered what Majestic said to her about her father being a ranger. She looked at him and questioned " dad when you were younger, you know in Angel Grove, what did you do for fun?".  He put down his newspaper and replied " well um me and the gang used to hit up the Angel Grove Youth Center every day after school and when I wasn't at the center, i was at home making inventions and what not". Crystal started to rub her hands and said " well what about when you weren't doing those things. What did you do ?". Billy looked at his daughter in shock and replied " Crys honey, where is this coming from ". She shook her and said " never mind, and um I'm done eating and if you don't mind I have to call my boyfriend ". Her father stood up and responded " oh no you're still on punishment. In the house all weekend and by the way wash your dish ". With this her father went into the living room to watch his favorite science show.

The next morning, Crystal got ready for school and left out the door . It had rained last night so her car was covered in water. " ugh why on a freaking Monday. This is just perfect " she sighed sarcastically. Her alarm had went off on her phone and she tried to press the stop button. Since it was rain on her hands the screen was very sensitive. After the 6th try she got aggravated and threw her hands up and yelled " oh you stupid phone shut up " and with that the rain on her car zinged in to the air and on the ground beside the car. Crystal towards the car direction since she herd the drops of water. She thought it was rain again. She seen her car and saw how perfect it looked. " the hell " she said in a low tone . Her car looked as if it was never rained on. She shook her head as if she was crazy and opened her car door. She got in and drove on to school.

She arrived at school and on the way to first period, she stopped by her locker and seen Daisy by the water fountain talking to Dylan. Daisy's arm was around his neck and she started to play with his blonde hair , which was cut short. She saw Crystal looking at her and chuckled. Dylan walked away to his class with his teammates and Crystal starred at Daisy in such rage. Crystal heart started pound. Her eyes looked at Daisy with such hate and anger that she wished the water fountain would just explode on her , which she can picture in her head. Surprisingly, at the moment, it happened in real life. The fountain exploded, leaving water to shoot all over Daisy, ruining her pink blouse. Crystal was in shock now more than ever.

Passing by her as the bell rung was Eligah. She pulled him aside and said " hey kid don't i know you from that place we were at last weekend ?". Eligah looked at her and replied " I don't know if that classifies as knowing me but yeah we were in the same place ". " whatever, do you feel weird " she asked him. His answer was " weird as in? I feel fine ". " your hands didn't vibrate or anything?" She questioned. Eligah said " no and the bell just rang i gotta go "with this he walked off.

Around lunch time , when everyone was at the cafeteria, Crystal went to the bathroom with her book bag. Inside the book bag was the box that was given to her by Majestic. She took it and and looked deeply into it. " ok glowing lady, tell me what's going on. I know you can hear me. Hello. " she whispered trying to get an answer. She grew angry with it and threw it to the ground and yelled " Damn it ". She was instantly transported to the metal room.

Majestic stood before her floating " you called for me ?". Crystal stood before in a awing state and answered " ok 1 what the hell and 2 why were my hands glowing ". Majestic clapped her hands in joy responding " oh rapture you have them. I thought it would've been later but oh rapture ". " have what ?" Crystal questioned. Majestic came close to her and patted her head " your powers ".

" powers ?" Said Crystal. Majestic replied " yes powers. You see my dear Crystal, in the past rangers have had powers. Some were mutant, some were magic, and for you, some were balancing the elements of nature. Your DNA bonded with the box and it's abilities . How exciting it is to know that you will be the last one to hold the element of water ". Crystal said to her " well how harry potterish. So how do i control it ?". Majestic replied " oh I cannot help you master it but you will have mentors. Past rangers who have held the elements of water to be exact ".

" ok when do i meet them ?" Asked Crystal. Majestic told her " they will come when you need them and when you get the chance , tell the others to come, for you all need to learn to morph ".

" I'm sorry, morph?" Questioned Crystal.
"Yes morph. You only have unmorphed powers now but when you are in your ranger suit , you will completely become empowered " replied Majestic " and also to transport here, just press the button on the bottom ". Crystal pressed the button on the bottom and was transported back at the bathroom at school.
