the door swung open at the entrance of their chemistry teacher ms kim 'good morning kids, today we'll be putting you in pairs for your project but i'll be choosing your partners' everyone groaned at the fact they weren't allowed to choose their own partners however many people just went along with it as ms kim had already paired many people with their friends. your class was now down to six people without a partner: 'han jisung work with lee minho, yang jeongin work with kim seungmin and finally kim woojin please work with jeon nara' ms kim's voice echoed through the ears of nara as she turned to face the sheepish boy with a slight smile.

nara pulled her desk aside to woojin's and began to ask him questions about the project they were about to work on 'so woojin, where do you want to meet and do the project?' woojin looked up at the girl before shrugging his shoulders yet again 'woojin, shrugging your shoulders isn't that helpful you know, anyway here's my number just text me where and when you want to meet up' nara passed a scrunched up piece of paper with numbers scribbled on it to woojin before smiling at him and leaving for recess where she planned to meet her friends on the rooftop of the school and eat her lunch her mum had prepared for her.

nara made her way to the rooftop where she met all her friends, her friend circle was somewhat small yet large at the same time, the circle consisted of bang chan, lee minho, seo changbin, hwang hyunjin, han jisung, lee felix, kim seungmin and yang jeongin. the eight boys bought nara plenty of comfort and happiness as much of her school day was spent politely rejecting confessions and doing her work to the best she could, the silence was soon broke by the booming voice of seo changbin 'yo nara how's that chemistry project going on with woojin' the boy said with a wink 'how's your flirting working on felix?' nara retorted making the boy sit back down and pull his figure closer to felix's before the whole group began to laugh.

during their laughing session, nara's phone had gone off; signalling that she had received a text, the sound of 'oooo's had filled the rooftop as nara gave them a stern glare before reading the text she had now received:

hey, it's woojin, can we meet
in the library after school to
do the project?

nara:
oh sure i'll just let my friends know that i'll be working on my project rather than walking home :)

woojin🖇:
oh okay, see you there :)

'ooooh someone's smiling widely, who was it?' hyunjin giggled as he proceeded to ask nara the question, nara shook her head before replying 'it was just woojin asking me to meet him in the library after school for our project' everyone's jaw dropped in shock as nara would never give her number to someone she was just working on a project with, everyone knew that the project would lead to something else.

hey guys ! i hope you're enjoying the story so far :) i didn't mention this earlier but i plan to make this a rather short yet fast moving fic so i don't think this book will be longer than 10 chapters.
