the clock continued to tick later and later past 4pm nara was utterly bored of waiting for woojin to leave his detention he had received earlier on in the day because he was late. nara pulled out her phone to text woojin knowing that he probably wouldn't reply during his detention but it was worth a shot anyway.

nara:
hey when will your det be over, i'm in the library waiting for you :)

5 minutes later...

woojin🖇:
i just got out of mr jung's room so
i'll be in the library soon, i won't
take long, i promise.

woojin dashed out of his homeroom knowing that he had probably already disappointed nara for having a detention and making her wait for him but he was surprised that she wasn't mad at him in any way, on his way to the library he picked up a small carton of banana milk for nara as he noticed every morning she'd arrive to school sipping a carton of banana milk before starting her school day. a few more minutes has passed and woojin finally reached the library, which to his surprise was busy but he managed to make out the petite figure of nara, he suddenly gained confidence as he strolled to the table where nara was sat and apologised for his lateness hoping that she'd accept the banana milk as an apology gift.

nara's eyes glimmered at the sight of her favourite milkshake being handed to her 'did you buy this for me? how did you know it was my favourite?' woojin scratched the nape of his neck, not knowing how to reply, 'uhm it sounds creepy but i notice that you always drink a carton of banana milk before entering the homeroom to begin the school day' nara giggled ever so slightly before mumbling to herself 'he's adorable' she didn't expect woojin to hear her but he did and a rosey colour spread across his cheeks. as a couple hours had passed the two began to get closer with one another as they continued to work together to try and finish as much of their project, 'hey woojin, i noticed that your only friend is bang chan but i wondered if you'd like to join us during recess everyday' nara's question slipped out of her lips as the two were exiting the library in order to head home, woojin was unsure of how to reply as he had been lonely for pretty much most of his life but he pondered upon the thought nand accepted nara's offer. nara widely smiled knowing that not only was she helping woojin make more friends but also managing to get woojin to talk to her as he never would.

the two parted ways once again as they made their way home before another school day began once again.

the next day came around faster than the two thought it would, both of their hearts began to race at the thought of each other yet they continued to be oblivious to each other's feelings towards each other. the morning progressed as it usually would up until recess when things began to change for woojin as he noticed nara stayed at her desk waiting for him to pack his books away 'hey slow coach, i'm hungry' now woojin wasn't one to make dad jokes but he found a great opportunity to make one 'well hey there hungry, i'm woojin' nara shook her head in disbelief as she lightly smacked his arm before they both made their way to the rooftop where woojin would now meet nara's friends alongside bang chan.
