"There's times, where no one can help us.
Only ourselves....."
{ Y/n's point of view}
The time we spent talking of the burden we carried was both relieving yet terrifying. To be able to speak our troubles- to acknowledge it as apart of our reality was the most difficult part.
Our faces sparkled with dry tears and we weared our puffy eyes like warrior paint, proud. Our conversation rises from the depths and floated above into a more easy going conversation. We talked about work and anything we could entertain ourselves with. Which I took this time to finally tell her about Hyungsik.
"That Jerk-face!! I swear if I ever see him I will kick him where the sun does not shine!" Eun-tak protested with her arms crossed causing her child to lift his eyes from his toy. " I never liked him!!!"
"I thought you did?" I tilted my head in confusion.
"I did- but why did he have to be such a jerk at the end?" Eun-tak pouted. "After everything you guys been through! Men don't know anything. You're better off without him!!" She expressed with her whole body- her arms frailing around.
I tried to hold my laugh but a smile broke through, "You sound just like Minho." I laughed.
"Oh! speaking of," Eun-tak grab her purse rummaging through it. " Minho left this for you." She said now a bit more serious as she hands me a brown bag and an envelope.
"why would he leave this?" I eyed it before taking it in my hands.
"He said to read it when you're alone. I don't know what's happening but he quit his job ." Her voice strained with stress. She rubs her temples in anguish- "Things haven't been the same."
"Did he say why?" There was that same pain in my heart- Like I lost another.
"No." She sighed. " Taemin been out for 3 days. He's actually the one to give me this, he said it was from Minho." She point towards the bag and envelope. "He seemed so, so anxious and paranoid. " Eun-tak describe with the picture still fresh in her mind drifting off in her memory. "He left before I can ask him anything"
I tried to speak but the glass barrier in my head dried out the words before reaching my mouth. I bit my lip, maybe I didn't know Minho after all. He was always so carefree that I didn't bother to think of his own troubles. Was I so oblivious to his suffer as well? The burning tears threaten to fall but this time, I restrain them from reach any further.
"We got to go find him and-" her hands wrapped around my own sharing her warmth with my cold ones. The cloud drifted away from my mind but the thought still lingered- what if he's in trouble?
"Y/n." She called out softly, "I'm sure he's fine, He's the type to do what he has to. He doesn't do anything without a good reason. Let's trust him." She calmly said, her voice soothing the adrenaline in my veins that I forced a sigh to relax myself. Each broken piece fell back into place and reasoned out my reckless behavior.
"Mommy I'm hungry." Joon-ki pouted as he tugs slight on his mother's sweater. She pat him lightly before turning back to me.
"Please just take care of yourself. " The desperation bleed through like ink on paper. "I need to go, I'll come back after my shift is over." With that she picked up her son in her arms who was focus on his toy flying it around him. I waved my hand eagerly at both and Joon-ki smiles brightly mimicking the same energy as me. The sound of the door clicked and my hand ceased to wave but stayed in the air for a moment. I look over at the bag and envelope that was placed on the small stand- my pulse vibrated through my whole body. My fingers, barely touching it, retracted in doubt. Yet my curiosity takes the best of me bringing it closer inch my inch.

Wonwoo threw the door opened- his face torn with mix emotions making it hard to decipher his true thoughts. He searched for his prey- who wasn't that far.
"Did you know- Does she know?!!!" Wonwoo roared as he advance forward. He pushed his victim against the wall hands wrapped tight around his prey's shirt. The strange attachment that the group displayed- was it because they feel guilty as well? No, they wouldn't, not after all they done. "She's - we did this-" He tighten his fist around the shirt, never faltering his glare that pierced his enemy.
"You look p-pathetic" Mark shift slightly underneath Won-woo's grasp trying to breathe. "If you think she won't find out then you're wrong-" Mark grunted.
"If you ever get near her again I won't hold back from snapping your neck." Won-woo growled in a low voice that it created a small whirlwind around their feet. Won-woo didn't care for the amount of people there, he was too hurt- too angry to care. Yet he still felt reluctant and the anger seized. He released Mark before he could go any further for the sake of Y/n.
"Did you fall for her this much to start a war?" Mark coughed out but a sickly laugh came after. Just like that, Mark saw through wonwoo's eyes reading his emotions better than he himself can. An untold truth he kept hidden away. Although Mark's words were bitter, way too bitter as if he uncovered something for himself as well. "It makes me sick how much you care for her." In that instant, Mark conjured up enough energy through his palm to send Wonwoo flying. In a blink of an eye, Won-woo was thrown nearly at the end of the hallway. Eyes snapped towards their direction and Won-woo was tempted to counter the attack but felt pressured by the sudden glares at them.
"You don't deserve sh*t."

The bell chimed a sweet but annoying melody. Eun-tak shifted her head over the counter to see the new costumer.
"Welcom-" she stopped herself midway - surprised at the sudden familiar face, "Tae-min!!!where have you been! I was so worried!" She cried out but nevertheless was still overjoyed to see him. She rushed to his side to attack him with a hug- despite being co-workers they all have their own pac which made work more bearable.
"Did you give it to her?" He said causing them to break the hug. Eun-Tak pulled away with one eyebrow raised.
"Yes. I did. Tae-min what's happening? And don't say it's fine because it's not. Y/n's in the hospital because she hasn't been eating or sleeping! Minho's gone- to I don't know where!! Ji-woo and the others-" Eun-tak bit her tongue she couldn't bring herself to say it. "Things are not okay. I just want to know if I can help. Please let me help." Eun-Tak said in low defeated voice. The newly added pressure caused the other to think carefully of his next words.
"There's nothing you can do to help. I don't want you to get drag in this," He sighed trying to avoid her stare. "We," The burden of his truth made the words stick to his mouth, not wanting to leave because once it leaves his mouth, shame and guilt would follow afterwards. "We aren't the people you think we are-"
"I don't understand. What do you mean-"
" Y/n and Minho are being hunted ! So please," his voice thin and desperate that it was hardly a whisper. "Think about your family before you want to help."
