Drowning in my own Darkness

Slowly but surely, I am drowning in my own darkness.

From day one, the darkness was nothing but a drip. From day two, the darkness was nothing but a puddle. Within a night it grew.

Slowly but surely, I am drowning in my own darkness.

From day three, the darkness was a small river. From day four, the darkness was nothing but a pond. Within another night it grew.

Slowly but surely, I am drowning in my own darkness.

From day five, the darkness was a lake. From day six, the darkness is now an ocean. Within another night it grew.

Slowly but surely, I am drowning in my own darkness.

Now here I am slowly sinking to the bottom of this ocean of darkness. Struggling to swim up.

Slowly but surely I am drowning in my own darkness.
